Alex is from Sioux City, Iowa most likely still in school right now. He was bullied a lot and was called “fish face”. One day, on a bus to school in eighth grade that’s where it all started. He didn’t tell anyone about the bullying until he decided he should. According to the daily mail he told his mom about it and they went to school and told the vice principal and all she said was “ i’ve been on that bus and the kids are as good as gold, but we’ll do something about it.” After that, Alex’s mom said “you know she said that at the start of the year.” As they were walking away in the parking lot. Then according to PBS a movie director heard about this and went straight to Alex and said “hey I heard you were bullied and I was bullied too, but do you wanna be in my movie the bully effect.” Alex obviously said yes and he started like that to stop bullying. Later on, the movie was very successful and so Alex used his money to make an organization called “I Stand For The Silent.” Right now he is 16 years old in 2017. Malala has started the Malala fund. The money and support that is collected goes straight to girls education, it’s used to educate girls who would not be educated if not supported. She has spoken to groups and TV before, so that people can know about her and her fund. Alex Lin has started a group called WIN, which stands for Westerly Innovations Network. The group is constantly clearing out e-waste and protecting nature. You see, if E-Waste is not taken care of, it’s thrown in landfills and it produces toxic waste because of the hazardous metals inside. That’s why you should never throw away your old electronics, because it does terrible things to the Earth. Alex Libby has not started a group or fund, but there are many articles about him on the web, and there was a movie produced called Bully which features Alex Libby and other victims of bullying. You can see that teen activists can do many things to reach out to the world, to relate to the world, to make people understand how passionate they are about their cause. A big question asked amongst people sometimes is “Can a teenager make a difference, and if they do is it positive?” a lot of people just brush it off sometimes and think that because they’re young and don’t have the same experience as some older people, they are bound to make mistakes. This is not always the case, as some teens can make a difference, whether it be in large scale that affects the world or in a smaller scale affecting the community or society. There are a couple kids that have make a difference, although some of the things they have done might be greater compared to others, they still have made a difference in where they live and the people in their communities.
Malala is very important in History, she sets as a role model for those who will become leaders and spread a message they strongly believe in. Malala is not like any other person in history. She does not only set an example for the time she lives in but those after. When we look at people in history, we see what they took a stand for. Whatever they did take a stand for, has brought a change in the world we live in.
A girl who’s outcry was heard all around the world. A girl fighting for an education for all, no matter what gender, race, or ethnicity. Malala refused to be silenced and always put up a fight no matter whom she is going against. Education was always a priority and a privilege for her. Her feelings later changed and she noticed everyone deserves and is entitled to an education.
Does participation in sports keep teens out of trouble? No not all the time because when you play a sport you’re sometimes away from the teachers. Then everyone would call you a sissy baby the rest of the school year. Then you would be embarrassed for the rest of the school year.

Being a teenager isn’t easy. You have a lot of things on your mind, a lot of things to worry about, a lot of things to carry and when I mean carry, I mean both physically and mentally. During the 17 years of my life that I have lived so far, I believe that I have never carried this much before. Part of it I think is because it’s senior year. Actually I think that 's the biggest reason why I feel so much pressure on my shoulders. I’m pretty sure that everyone can agree on this, especially if you’ve been through it before. I’m not talking to the adults of course because I know your lives are difficult and what not, but I’m mostly talking to the teens who are currently going through the same stage of life that I’m in right now. Now I’m not saying my life is difficult in any means because I know that I

(Bucknell) As they are growing up, they are developing their minds and trying to adapt to their surroundings. Despite some negative thoughts about teens, many create their sense of rebellion due to the lack of ideal parents. They begin to think for themselves and go down the wrong path without the right guidance. For instance, without the right guidance the teenager feels that they are the adults in every situation and they know what is right and what is wrong. They begin to develop habits that will later lead to unsuccessful situations. During teenage years, many are going through
