An innocent, even revolutionary, girl was walking to her bus only to get shot three times, while one bullet pierced her skull. This girl is Malala. She is a girl. Activism is a significant force in our world. Malala, an extraordinary activist, has had many successes and downfalls. Malala might be the most influential activist with a deadly outcome, led by those who oppose her. While activism is hard, it is crucial to the development of our world as it shows in the case of Malala. Activism is a critical part of our ever-growing world. It’s clear that with activism, great things have happened. Clearly, activism changes the world for the better. Malala, being one of these activists, is arguably one of the best activists. In the beginning of Malala’s life she lived in Swat Valley, Pakistan where the Taliban ruled and shut down and blew up schools for girls(EB). However, the Pakistan army soon drove out the Taliban and lifted the ban for girls going to schools (EB). Furthermore, Malala started her activism career by giving her first speech when the Taliban first took her right to go to school(EB). Then, Malala made a blog about her life while she couldn’t go to school for the British Broadcasting Channel(EB). Later on, Malala made her first television appearance followed by two films. Motivation is a key part to being an activist and Malala’s motivation was due to an unfairness directing her own life. Malala found it unfair that girls couldn’t go to school, so she became an activist. To conclude, Malala is an amazing activist and has accomplished so much.
