Strengths for Change Despite a long history of youth gang affiliation, racial problems, and house problems in low income communities there have not methods that seem promising or effective at changing the mindset of students who must face detrimental struggles every single day. The most important factor that one must contain when teaching children and teens the right way to strive and prosper is the ability keep calm. Attention is required for the entire minutia implicated with the activities that will provide those involved with the most impactful days in their life. Furthermore, standards must be required to be increased every time a goal is surpassed for the simple reason that determination makes all things possible. One does not need to offer expensive cars, fancy dinners, fancy hotel accommodations, or a meet and greet with superstars in order to make an individual special; all it takes is a pair of ears and great conversations. The outcome desired is to give students a feeling of rejuvenation by creating activities that seem childish but work fantastically. This is because the activities utilize elements from fruit loops to peanuts or crayons. With success educators can and will be able to grab their students’ attention and in return reveal their hidden characters giving them a sense that people around the globe are facing similar situation but most importantly the magic that can derive from individuals in detrimental situations. There are individuals who know each other whether it’s due to a certain community, race, or by simple interaction that occurred sometime in their life but once they are in a setting with different people the simply stick with those they know and constantly try to seek out those who they relate with. It should be the Educators priority to diversify the interaction between students without considering and attributions they might have for the sole reason as to get them out of their comfort zone and open their views of the outside world.
