Success Success; it's something most strive for, a goal in life. To some, success could be money or fame. Others might not think about success, like it is nothing to them. It is defined as, "the accomplishment of an aim or purpose" (Google). But what really is success? Is it something that defines a person, or is it only as simple as the definition?
Success is more than how it's defined. Success is happiness. It can be small things that are already accomplished, like having a best friend with an open friendship, where everything is comfortable to talk about, and it is normal that way. Going through life without having the "opened minded" mentality is a one way ticket to not succeeding. According to, creativelivinginc.com, "When you have an open mind you allow yourself to attract opportunities and you insist on following up on opportunities - no matter how trivial they seem. Keeping an open mind means that you are open to all possibilities." Having a mind that is shut off to open mindedness, will close a lot of doors for people. Many opportunities will be passed up. In reality, it is hard for most people to be open minded when strong beliefs are in play. The key to success though, is overcoming that; showing that just because something hasn't necessarily been thought over, doesn't mean it isn't a possibility. Self confidence is also an important factor to success. It comes back to motivation like, "you can do it, this is what you want, strive for it!" Without self confidence, doubt and fear comes in and withdraws the full ability to succeed for what is wanted. To succeed, you need the confidence to face and overcome your fears." If someone has self confidence, the goals that are trying to be achieved will be set higher, aiming for goals that will be more beneficial. "Confident people believe in success.
