The challenging, problem-solving and logical aspects of computer sciences are some of the many reasons why I want to study this at university. I have always had the ambition to do something related to IT even from as young as eight years old. Computer Science is the only degree that matches my interests, whether it be programming, Operating Systems, A.I, software engineering or database systems and many more. I have the desire to learn more and improve my knowledge, learning new things in IT is passion of mine; I would do anything to increase my knowledge of IT, as the industry continues to develop.
My current course has made me more committed to study a degree in computer science, with many of the units giving me valuable experiences into what computer science could be like. A major part of the course is to learn about programming, it wasn't easy at first; it was like learning a new language. As time went on I started to love solving complex problems in programs, the harder the project the more determined I was to get good results, and even when I had the result I would go over the...
... be working hard and putting the time in. Computers are a great tool and have help build our world into what it is today. With every year that passes we as a human species grow more relying on computer technologies’. That is the biggest reason I have chosen to study computers and all the great tools computers offer us. I know there is a job in computer out there for me and for anyone else that is interested in the computer field.
The Computer Science Major involves creating programs in order to solve a problem or to complete a task. While it has many similarities to the other ITC majors, it is also different in many ways. Computer Science is unique in that it mainly focuses on making programs. It is a more conceptual study of programming. In other words, its focus is more about ideas and concepts than it is about business application. One more thing that makes this major unique is its heavy use of math and problem solving skills. These skills are very important to the major, because almost everything in Computer Science involves numbers. Another very important characteristic of Computer Science is the frequent use of variables and algorithms.
I have often wondered what it would be like to experience the freedom of choosing my own class schedule. This has to be infinitely more stimulating and enjoyable. I am also aware that college will be significantly more challenging, but I have always found it easier to study for a class that interests me. I am willing to accept the fact that as long as I am in school, there will be required courses which may not engender excitement or enthusiasm; however, success should not be as difficult to achieve due to the maturity that is developing during this last year of high school. In addition, I have gained an understanding of the benefit of being well rounded. There is value in all classes taken. It helps to know that even my least favorite subject will contribute to the ultimate goal of personal and career development.
I am applying for the course of Computer Science because I would like to increase my knowledge of this subject. I hope that in the future I will be able to create applications for computers that will help people to save time and money.
After my twelfth grade, the inherent ardor I held for Computer Sciencemotivated me to do a bachelors degree in Information Technology. Programming and Math, a paragon of logic and reasoning have always been my favorite subjects since childhood. I still vividly remember the time during my graduation, when I was successful in creating a simple calculator application as a class assignment. The joy I derived from creating something that is used by a lot of people to help them perform complex calculations, made me realize the power of computing in its true sense. It was also in my graduation that I developed an immense interest in programming languages such as Java, C++ an...
Right now I have a fairly accurate idea concerning what I want to do with my life. My love for computers has taken me a long way and I have a strong feeling that I will continue in the field of computer science. Yet, I am also aware that I may change my mind several times before I begin a career. College will introduce me to new and various things, and I will develop new interests from this exposure. The world of technology is changing rapidly and computers seem like the best way to go. When I combine that and my love for computers I am almost certain that the field of computer science is right for me.
A fascination for Science & Technology and keen interest in the ever-growing world of technology motivated me to take up engineering. The power of research and delivering it for the growth of Society is what makes me interested in the technology side of science. I choose to major Computer science Engineering with an intense urge to delve into this challenging field. During my under graduation program I learned the various fundamentals of Computer science Engineering which together with practical course works reinforced my interest.
...ning and evaluation of my learning. I have become more motivated to do the course as I have been responsible of my own learning and identifying resources for learning, therefore, have more confident in making decision.
On the first day of college; my teachers said to me; Study hard and you 'll get a degree. The Course 's Enduring Understanding (EU) is ideas, habits, and general comprehension of what students should know or will soon find out. Over the course of my first semester I learned ideas such as studying, sceduding, and trying to fit all that into one week and 5 classes. I also learned habits such as reading, thinking, listening, presenting. We used all of those skills in the course of the whole semester and it kind of got me read for what the other courses where going to bring.
The field of Computer Science is based primarily on computer programing. Programming is the writing of computer programs using letters and numbers to make "code". The average computer programer will write at least a million lines of code in his or her lifetime. But even more important than writting code, a good programer must be able to solve problems and think logicaly.
This perfectly holds true for me in the world of Computer Engineering where novel ideas are not a novelty. It is this novelty that entices me to this field and gives me a deep sense of professional pride. In this context, I would like to pursue my graduation in Computer Engineering, which not only supplements the knowledge that I possess but also provides a strong platform for my future career goals.
My ultimate goal in my career is to make a commendable contribution to the computing world either by starting an innovative venture or doing research which would change the dimensions of future computing and the way we perceive the computers. Now I have determined that a dedicated higher study on Computer Science will enable me to aggregate all my previous knowledge & experience on the field and encourage in achieving my career goal. I am looking at Graduate studies to provide me with the required expertise to carry out higher studies.
My fascination with computers began from early high school when we had introductory computer classes. Further, programming and graphics lessons caught my imagination and soon computers became almost an obsession. This resulted in my choosing Computer Science for undergraduate studies. Artificial Intelligence is the area where I have chosen to set my foot in.
The beginning of my 1st week1 to my major course computer programming compositions classes even though I had some basic skill about python programming I can tell it was a big challenge for me
Computers and Technology have fascinated me right from my childhood and I have always had it in my mind to choose Information Technology for my engineering. As the years passed my eagerness grew and so did my thirst to attain higher education and now is the perfect time for me to ignite the spark in me. This has given me the courage to analyze the fact that I have a herculean task ahead in order to comprehend an extensive proportion of subject and enjoy it while assimilating the problems.
