Recommended: Importance of college education essays

While I am still a freshman I know from many seniors how annoying college applications, as I hear about a lot during this class in particular. For my part of this speech I got to look and research about how informing students earlier about college applications would actually help them in the long run and here is what I found. Informing juniors early can help them get a head start on college applications, which means you can spend more time researching about colleges and the types of things they want to see on your college applications. Applying for college applications early can also give you more time to write and edit the essay that you are going to turn in. Also if you start applications early you will not have to worry about deadlines come senior year, the last thing I would want to have to do senior year is focus on deadline as i would just forget them in the long term. …show more content…

As I said earlier if you start applications early then you won't have to worry about scrambling for deadlines which would give you more time to focus on the actual application instead of the deadline. If you turn your application in on time you have a much greater chance of getting into a college because some colleges do not accept late applications and if they do you have to have a better reason then you forgot. I think it is not worth the risk that you would forget so I think being informed earlier and starting your applications early would help many people with
