The main reason I want to become a teacher is so that I can have a positive impact on the upcoming generations. I realize that teachers and coaches have an amazing opportunity to push their students toward success and bright futures. I look back at my high school years and see how coaches pushed me to succeed off the playing field through making good grades, while some teachers giving me more opportunities like going to UIL contests. While I was in college, I felt a calling to become a man and grow in manhood, and with that call I also felt the call to push young men to grow in manhood as well. And from looking back on my experiences in school and watching the impact that those teachers and coaches had on me, but not just me but other students to be successful in everything they do …show more content…

After seeing the impact that I have had on students in a week at camp has only fueled that desire to see what kind of an impact I could have on students when spending the whole year with them.Learning the three keys to success are very important to the success of teachers especially new teachers who have never been a class room long-term. Each of these keys play a “key” role in the first year, starting with being reasonable. Understand that you won’t be able to reach every student is always something to keep in mind, which does not mean that you shouldn’t do everything you can as a teacher to reach everyone, but have an understanding that some students are not reachable by you. Also being reasonable to the fact that some days are going to be harder than others and you may not do as well with explaining one detail or theory as another, but being able to move on from a low point to something better. The second key is to be organized, which is pretty self-explanatory, yet it is something that may people struggle with and something that most people do spend enough time
