I am applying for this scholarship because I need all of the help that I can get paying for school. I am working a full time summer job right now but it does not pay as well as my job last summer did and does not provide the overtime hours I would like to have.

One of the greatest things that I gained on my mission was the ability to see people’s potential, what they can become, and what they can become when the Spirit of God acts in their lives. I learned how much a worthy conduit of that same Spirit can help and how essential the Spirit really is, not only in our church callings but in our everyday lives; it changes and influences our interactions with others. I plan to bring the knowledge I gained from my mission to my professional life so I can better help others.
