STATEMENT OF INTENT
The frontiers of science and technology have had a special appeal for me right from my childhood. Ever since I was in school, science and mathematics have always fascinated me. I visualize them as fields in which new and exciting discoveries are being made. The prospect of being at the forefront of knowledge and perhaps being able to contribute to it made me take to a career in science and mathematics. It is in pursuit of this career that I wish to undertake graduate studies.
My pre-university education, which emphasizes on Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, laid a strong foundation for my undergraduate studies, which also helped me in securing a good rank in the highly competitive statewide entrance examination. Having …show more content…

Canada is a developed country and the education system is highly competitive and comprehensive. Canada sets a high educational standard. It is common knowledge that the living standards in Canada are one of the best in the World and Canada is consistently ranked as one of the best Countries to live in. The ever-growing number of international students to Canada each year proves that Canada is a cultural hub; this provides me with an opportunity to grow personally and professionally as I can learn a lot from different ethnic groups found in Canada.
