After I took the Richard Step Strengths Test, my top 5 strengths are curiosity, integrity, visionary, ambition and optimism. I agree with this result, because I feel myself are always enjoy meeting new things, and to know about it. I always make a plan and set a goal, also encourage myself to finish it in time. In addition, I like to listen a speech from video or somewhere and I would take a note when I hear something positive and helpful. The Kaufman Brief Intelligence Test, Second Edition, also referred to as KBIT-2, is a test designed to measure verbal and nonverbal intelligence in people ages 4 to 90 years of age (Harris, 2013). The KBIT-2 has three subtests: two Verbal subtests and one Nonverbal subtests. The KBIT-2 Manuel typically takes between 15 to 30 depending on the age of the participant (Kaufman & Kaufman, 1990). I was excited to take the Gallup Strengths Finder assessment. Although I am more reserved and shy, I typically find myself placed in leadership positions. I am always surprised when people refer to me as a leader but family members and close friends have made me more aware of this personality characteristic. I really enjoyed taking the Gallup Strength Finder assessment and I can see why this would be an assessment growing in popularity across the globe. When I finished the assessment, my results showed that my strengths, from first to last, are developer, empathy, input, connectedness, and restorative.

After completing the Clifton strength finders test, I learned my dominant strengths and it gave me a sense on what areas I am strong in. It allows you to work in the areas that you are good in and not in the ones you might not be as strong in. My top five strengths were learner, connectedness, belief, positivity, and includer. A lot of these I figured I would have because I am an athlete and I love to be positive. In my papers, I have noticed that one of my biggest strengths is how articulate I am. The papers that have been written by myself show that I structured sentences to present ideas in different ways. There are many tools to assess functional exercise capacity most of which provide good information about body system. The most popular clinical exercise tests are stair climbing, a 6MWT, a shuttle-walk test, detection of exercise-induced asthma, a cardiac stress test and a cardiopulmonary exercise test) (ATS, 2002). In the past, the functional exercise capacity was assessed by asking patients “How many flights of stairs can you climb or how many blocks can you walk?”; but, this assessment was a subjective measurement. In addition, the first objective tool was in 1960s which was 12 minute walking test; however, it was so exhausting for patients. As a result from that, a 6 minute walking test (6MWT) was found to be used as an objective measurement tool for functional exercise capacity in patients with mild or moderate respiratory diseases and cardiac diseases (ATS, 2002). Many studies have concluded that 6MWT is inexpensive test and“… it is easy to administer, better tolerated, and more reflective of activities of daily living than the other walk tests” (ATS, 2002). Through the self-assessment instruments utilized in this program, I have gained wealth of knowledge about my strengths, and weaknesses and how they affect my personal and professional life. By using different exercises, I recognized new strengths and weaknesses. At the same time, I identified ways to develop my strengths and overcome my weaknesses. Other strengths include being self-confident, conscientious, diligent and determined. It was interesting to see my lower scores as well; the lowest average score was sensitivity (3.2), followed closely by self-assuredness and perception and empathy. Although I consider myself sensitive, I believe the sense of sensitivity does not apply as often towards others I interact with.
