Evaluation I chose four different local restaurants of Wheeling, WV. These particular four restaurants had similar ratings and are well known by many people. Often, these four restaurants can be among the favorite restaurants of many people. Therefore, I wanted to evaluate them against my criteria to see which restaurant is actually the best.
Avenue Eats Avenue Eats is an American restaurant located near Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, West Virginia. They are well known for their burgers and uniqueness. I have gone to Avenue Eats quite a few times. I enjoy the American feel to the restaurant with the juicy burgers and wood tables, chairs, and floors. I have always had a good experience at Avenue Eats.
Food Quality. The food quality of Avenue Eats is superb. All of their food is properly cooked and served nicely. Also, it is apparent that their food is cooked in the restaurant and not just microwaved before served. Their dishes were very fresh and delicious.
Respectable Service. The service at Avenue Eats is fine. The employees there have great attitudes and respect their customers. Also, they usually are able to remember the orders without writing them down which is quite impressive. Furthermore, the food arrived at the table at a proper time; their service is very suitable.

The atmosphere of Avenue Eats is a little faltered. It is a very casual restaurant, so someone looking for a fancy place to eat should not go there. I believe the lighting of the restaurant is perfect for its atmosphere, and there is soft music playing which I liked very much. Also, the restaurant is decorated appropriately for the theme of their establishment. There are pleasant wooden floors and tables which creates an enjoyable, American feel. The restaurant also seems to be quite tidy. However, the restaurant can feel a little crowded at times with the kitchen being so close to a lot of the tables. Sometimes, the kitchen noise will reach the guests at their
The main consumer characteristic that Cracker Barrel Old Country Store sets their standards on is “Pleasing people”. (Etzel, Walker, Stanton. 2001 pg. 204) A review of the Cracker Barrel Old Country store states, “This restaurant has a combo of good food, good service, and atmosphere. The gift shop is trendy, and affords one a place to browse. Do your browsing after the meal, for service is fast and efficient. One dines among country antiques that serve as decor. The country plates are a delight, and one must try the daily specials. Don't order dessert if you're not hungry. The blackberry cobbler and lemon icebox pie are superb. This is home cooking with affordable prices and great atmosphere.” (http://stlouis.citysearch.com/profile/3855636) Cracker Barrel stores appeal to both the traveler and the local customer and have consistently been a consumer favorite. Cracker Barrel was ranked as the top family dining chain for the eleventh consecutive year in the 2000 Restaurants & Institutions magazine "Choice in Chains" annual customer survey. It was also named “Best Family Dining” restaurant by Restaurant & Institutions magazine for the tenth consecutive year. The R&I award is based on a national consumer survey that evaluates chains on seven separate attributes: food quality, menu variety, value, service, atmosphere, cleanliness, and convenience. For 2000, Cracker Barrel scored highest among family dining establishments on every one of the attributes.
Everyone wants their food to taste superb when going out to eat. Both restaurants served excellent homemade chips and salsas as well as queso dip. Reading the menu to order was no problem and both places had a wide variety of options to choose...
One quality that is involved in a restaurant is the atmosphere and the positive energy it gives off. Considering the Western theme, they have the restaurant well decorated from the entrance, to the place where you sit. The walls are painted with tumbleweeds on them, with great lighting that allows you to see, and not go blind. The plates and silverware are very nice, as is the food that goes into them.
Any Chipotle I have always gone to have always had good service. Their employees are great. There is never a sour moment when you ask for anything, they are always kind and welcoming. I am always greeted with a hello and a smile when I step up to order. Even if the employee serving you has had a bad day it never shows, you would never know. Despite the lines being basically out the door every time you come (which is the only downside to coming here), the wait time can give you a headache. It is worth it, because Chipotle for sure serves fast food; they usually have three employees working to serve the food. One to get what you order prepared, one to add what extras you and to finish packing it and one to cash you out. The menu is very easy to read and figure out what you want. They have all of the print on the menu in white and big font so it makes it simple for everyone to read. So there isn’t any trouble ordering what you want. They have many different options to choose from as well. You don’t always have to get the burrito.

wonderful quick meal right in front of you. They show you hands on how to prepare and cook
Barbecue is one of my favorite foods. I have always enjoyed going into some greasy barbecue dive, listening to the blues, and feeling pretty cool. Two joints where I have eaten are Big D's Piggy Strut Soul Pit Bar-B-Q in Clemson, South Carolina, and Hy's Deli right across from the School campus. Even though both of these restaurants pride themselves on their barbecue, Big D's is obviously the better.
With our growing obsession of food culture, and an estimate of 16 million restaurants worldwide, there is one neglected element that has been right in front of us all this time: the menu. When it comes to profits, the menu is not only important; it is everything in a successful restaurant brand identity. Research has found that a customer only takes an average of 109 seconds reading a menu. This is the time limit one has to impress and sell. This essay will outline different ways and means on how the graphic designer under-take different methods to turn the menu into a sales tool for the restaurant and will discuss menu design techniques to help boost the effectiveness of the ‘silent salesperson’ onto customers and increase profits (Pavesic, 2013).

I went to a Perkins restaurant located in Sartell, Minnesota. It is located just off of the highway, but not far enough in town that it gets a lot of local business. Therefore, the restaurant was not very busy when we visited on a Saturday Night. There were around half a dozen families sitting together and one unruly group of teenagers who came in later. The restaurant also felt very private as the tables were divided into two separate sections by walls, and the booths were high enough that you couldn’t see the other customers in the booths.

With my nose pressed against the window of the taxi, I amazed by the little restaurants and shops lining the street, having never known a quiet corner existed in this bustling city. I watch with fascination as people wave to each other or chat easily with one and other. In our neighbourhood, the only wave or words exchanged are angry gestures, ordering people or traffic out of the way since everyone is in a huge rush to get anywhere. The taxi idles outside a quaint, Italian restaurant. I remain close beside Alice as we follow the two men inside.
According to the standard requirements, all stuff should be trained However, No training, no monitoring, and no records. This was the biggest gap which lead to ignorance and mistakes. Even if they are not supported, they must intensify the arrangement and hygiene.
In my opinion, human being is living for eating. Most of people do not agree with that, because they think that people is eating for living, but food is ___ most important thing that we need to survive. In the 21th century, we can eat what we want because of the globalization. The Levin Institute demonstrated that “not only affect eating habits, but they also influence the traditions and mores in countries where they are located” p179 are depended on by restaurants. Therefore, there are a lot of countries restaurants in my country. The most common are both Korean and American fast food restaurants. Of course, they are fast, delicious, and easy, on the other hand, most of ___ health problems__ are caused by them, so both Korean and American restaurants have some strengths and weaknesses.
