Respectable leaders use the ability to communicate, the ability to delegate, and the ability to inspire as qualities to motivate others while questionable leaders use control, negative influence, and deceit as qualities. A respectable leader will know how to balance results and relationships. A questionable leader will put more emphasis on results or relationships but not both. Each leadership style will ultimately affect the team. Supervisors are expected to be good leaders but sometimes fall short of their duties
A respectable leader will balance good relationships among the team members by having a two- way communication system in place. This team will be well-rounded and encouraged frequently, and provided with feedback to help and keep them motivated. When using these actions this will have great results on projects or goals that this leader has assigned. This will allow the team to be creative and to take risk on their own ideas. Furthermore in doing so, the superior in this leadership role will work very hard themselves and knows that this will promote hard work from the rest of the team. This leader still lacks the ability to follow through and is inconstant with enforcing the rules at time. Communication from this person is very ineffective with no follow through or very little feedback. Which leads to less productivity in the work place. This type of superior will complain about the role he or she play in leadership and will not take any steps to fix any part of the role where they may feel it falls short. This work environment lacks creativity and the ability to take risk and to try new things. Most projects or goals from this style of leadership will lack the ability to show the hard work that may have been put into it by the team and will appear
