Introduction
I choose Italy because I am part Italian. Italy is a very unique place to visit it. It has many beautiful places including Rome, Venice, and many more. Rome specifically has a many ruins that are still standing today. Rome is Italy’s capital. Rome is located in the middle of Italy. Italy has many small streets, making it hard to get in but beside the drive it is amazing and neat. When you see Italy at night it is amazing and absolutely breathtaking.

Climate
Most of Italy has a Mediterranean type of climate. A Mediterranean type of climate is rainy winters and hot dry summers. In Rome the temperatures can range from 37.4 degrees Fahrenheit to 86 degrees Fahrenheit. They get about 3 inches of rain every month. …show more content…

The total area of Italy is 301,340k m2 which is 116,350 miles. Including Italy’s islands it has a coastline of 4,700 miles on the Sea of Sardinia, Tyrrhenian Sea, Ionian Sea, Adriatic Sea, Ligurian Sea, and Strait of Sicily. Italy is a peninsula in the Mediterranean Sea. Most of the population of Italy is in the following cities Rome, Naples, Milian, Genoa, and Venice. There are over 58million people in Italy.

Culture

The language of Italy is Italian. Pretty much all of the population of Italy speaks fluent Italian it is the native language according to the BBC. There are more languages in Italy, but that Italian is the main one. Italy has many architectural styles including Neoclassical, Renaissance, Roman, and Baroque. Italy invented the ice cream cone it was invented in Rome. Did you know that glasses were an Italian invention. In Italy you will find the most hotel rooms than in any other nation. Most of Italy is mountains or hills.

Conclusion
I picked this country because I have always wanted to visit Italy. My grandparents have gone there twice now. They’ve told so many stories about their trips to Rome and Venice. I am a fan of all the food and tourism and how many people live in this amazing country. I think that Italy is unique and interesting because of all the ruins and interesting culture.
