Anger is learned
Anger is a bad habit that can be changed with conscientious effort
This article is not a lecture because I believe we all have our share of the subject.
I want to address a natural emotion that can serve good purposes and sometimes can be harmful to us as a person and/or our relationships.
Anger is a secondary emotion, which means it is a reaction to an underlying stimulus. Pain can manifest in the form of anger. Over time, feeling of frustration, confusion, being powerless, discrimination, jealousy, co-dependency, disappointment and so on can make us develop a thick skin to shield ourselves from the actual pain. Anger is an expression of pain. Once you can identify the underlying issue, it’s easy to make logical conclusions. Observe and use an anger management log when you experience any major anger-inducing situations.

It takes time to untangle yourself from anger in all its manifestations (emotional response, self-hurt, self-abuse).
"Time will heal everything" is a popular saying I've repeatedly heard since I was a kid, but what is the meaning of the statement? Does it mean any situation or behavior will correct itself without any input from me? Or it implies taking responsibility for my situation and be in tune with current realities? Often, we interpret current realities based on past experiences, learned behavior, or we jump to conclusions rather than actively listen, and this results in frustration, wrong projections and conflicts.
Here are some useful ideas to help you douse tension when confronted with stressful situations. I believe these tips are better than explosive outbursts.
