MY REVIEW ON RANDY LOVE…. AT YOUR SERVICE
This book explores the lifestyle of Randy Love, the last child of his household, as a reckless and ambitious character constantly trying at every opportunity to get better jobs that increase his prestige. His recklessness stems from his behaviours such as chronic alcoholism, sleeping around with various women and his lack of common sense. However, his irresponsibility and reckless gives his father fears that he may not complete his college education, hence his promise to his father. It also discusses his ordeals amidst various forms of seduction at different levels, some of which he didn’t have adequate control of himself. He is a character that sees people as stupid without common sense and a lot of women as objects of mere satisfaction :cry2: . He also has a selfish attitude. However, as things later dawned on him, he started to change ways towards the end of the book.
The author uses his book to explain the value of education, self improvement and grabbing life’s opportunities as they come :D , although it wasn’t wide spread throughout …show more content…

He also uses various forms of slangs and glossary which contained the meanings of some of the slangs used and some strange terminologies. However, it is recommended that the very frequent use of slangs should be reduced as it gives a picture of obscenity and vulgarity to readers :evil2: . He also attempts to use the simplest forms of language to communicate but this wasn’t a totally achievable success as the story while focusing on the main character, suffered a great disconnect such that, even with full concentration, one would still get confused and be required to reread past chapters all over again :? :? :? , thereby arousing a lack of interest in continuing the story.
