I have been waiting for my senior year, for all my high school career, and finally it is here and will be over before I know it. Then I will be going to college to pursue my job career. Right now, I am looking in to two jobs that I want to go into. My first choice is Civil Engineering, I like the thought of going into this type of job, because it involves hands on activities, also you get to work at the job site, or manage some of the biggest man made creations that a lot of the population will be using to the end of time. My other job that I have been thinking about is Mechanical Engineering, I like this type of job because as a Mechanical Engineer I will be developing or testing mechanical or thermal tools or other type of equipment. To become a Mechanical Engineer almost all entry in to this field is required to have a bachelor 's degree in Mechanical Engineering. They are also higher Mechanical Engineering jobs that you can go for like the Professional Engineer in this field you have to go through ABET to get a license so you can do any job in the Mechanical Engineering field other than the one that I have majored in.(“CFNC.org - Career Profile”). I know that a bachelor 's degree is one of the hardest to get, but I think I would be willing to put the time and effort in to get it so I could start work in the Mechanical Engineering field. Mechanical Engineering is a great field to go into, but the outlook for the future on Mechanical Engineering is not the best. Even tho it is predicted to grow 5% in the years 2012-2022, it i s below average for this type of job. Even tho it is below average there is factories and other place that will employ mechanical engineers to work for them while waiting for a bigger job to open up that will need this type of worker, while these places need mechanical engineers in the workplace, they will pay the same amount per year i would make on a regular mechanical engineer wage or a little less.(“mechanical
