Having professionalism immediately sets you apart from everyone else. You have the early child care experience, education, and still thrive to continue your education and learn even after you’ve finished school and have gotten your degree. Having professionalism is important because if parents are need of a child care program, they will looking for programs that serve quality care and education to their children, and the best way to have a quality care center is to continue development and research, staying up to date, and providing the best for the children that attend the center.

Professionalism is also important because it benefits young children. These children will have teachers who provide a curriculum that has been advanced, and is up to current standards. Which is important, because research will always continue with the latest practices and skills. Professionalism is important for teachers, because they become self-assured and ready to handle anything that may come their way. I already knew the basis of what professionalism was, but in this class, it went details, examples, and scenarios, instead of just the broad description. Before this class, I knew that professionalism was providing children the best quality education, and to continue learning. After being in this class, I learned many things relating to professionalisms, such as how to work with others, how to solve problems, how to implement work, how to communicate in a positive and practical way.
