How To Survive Jr. High
Oh Jr. High, you moved on from the little elementary classes and now you're in the real deal. Things will be different, you will get chromebooks, more homework and even crazier teachers (cough cough Mrs Delucia) but their are some things you should know. Things like what and what not to get involved in also known as your social life, some of the responsibilities of a Jr. Higher and some of the academic up and downs, (there are more ups than downs but still, you should know about them). New opportunities will arise such as after school sports, leads in school plays ASB (student government), yearbook editing and photography, cool electives, awesome field trips to Astrocamp, Catalina Island and, Washington D.C andit will be the first year that you do science fair. You should know how to handle all these things, and that is the exactly what this essay is for.
Decisions, the average person makes anywhere from 3,000 to 35,000 everyday. Some of them are good, others are the worst decisions of your life. That’s not true, but they are pretty important, Some things like “should I get involved

Is it because of you friends, your teachers, to play basketball. Well, whatever it is, it should be for your academics. Whenever you have a big project (science fair, international festival) don’t wait ‘till the last minute, get it done as fast and as good as you can. Time management is key in Jr. High, with every class every day, you have to make sure you know what you have to do and what can wait. It is also important that you understand that you get out what you put in. If you don't put 110% into your work, you won’t get good results out. Something that the teachers emphasize and is probably the most important thing to do when it comes to your school-work is asking for help when you need it, don’t try to guess on everything ask for help from your teachers, from your parents and maybe even some of your
Making the transition from middle school to high school is a huge stepping stone in a teenager’s life. High school represents both the ending of a childhood and the beginning of adulthood. It’s a rite of passage and often many teens have the wrong impression when beginning this passage. Most began high school with learning the last thing on their mind. They come in looking for a story like adventure and have a false sense of reality created through fabricated movie plots acted out by fictional characters. In all actuality high school is nothing like you see in movies, television shows, or what you read about in magazines.
The narrator describes the drastic change from elementary to junior high for example the narrator talks about his new situation with his teachers “…what happened was there were teachers now, not just one teacher, teach-erz...” his confusion by the drastic change of having only one teacher to teach his class and help him out then to having multiple teachers. You also get that sense of abandonment and being overwhelmed. He feels abandoned because now that he has multiple teachers, he doesn’t get the kind of attention and care that he was used to in middle school. With all these different teachers with different personalities and classroom rules he

In short, I feel junior year provided a foundation for the more mature and adult chapters of my life, and without the numerous obstacles of junior year, I would never have gained the key to a successful future.
As Junior year is regarded as your most important year while taking exams such as SAT, ACT, SBAC and AP test. Junior year to me felt very similiar to my Sophomore year in high school, as I still meet new people and friends from sports and got closer to many new teachers. Two new areas in which I improved throughout my Junior year were my character and responsibility. Throughout my Junior year I learned to be more humble and not procrastinate. I learned that majority of the time doing an assignment as soon as possible is almost if not always going to turn out better than waiting until the last
According to the American Psychological Association, resilience is the process of adjusting enough in the presence of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats or major sources of stress such as financial and workplace problems, family/ relationship problems, and severe health problems or workplace and financial stressors (American Psychological Association, 2013).
Senior year is the year full of memories, some bad and some good. But, I will forever cherish these because I will never get a chance to do this again. Senior year is the year I will learn to take risks, have fun, focus on my future and everything it holds. I have 9 months left of being a kid, 9 months before I spring into adulthood. It is the year full of changes-whether or not I actually want them to happen. This is the year that will be filled with some hard goodbyes and generous hellos. But, I will put my best foot forward and embrace and embark on this special
High school is meant to be the time of your life, but for most seniors just like me it can be some of the most emotional and crazy time. The things in my past make me who I am today, and the things I do now are the first footsteps into the future. I’ve learned a lot about myself in these past four years, and I still have so much learning to do. This is my high school story; the good, bad, and the ugly.
To win an argument one must keep in mind the following factors: Is the argument
Welcome friends, peers, teachers, and parents. We are finally graduating! It has been a long four years since I first stepped in to these halls as a freshman, but yet I can’t help but feel its only been a short time in my life. Today I had two jobs to do, that’s it. The first one was to show up to this event, consider it done. The second was to give a memorable speech on perseverance and just what it means to me. So it is with that intro that i begin my speech. The dictionary defines perseverance as a steady effort to maintain a course of action, purpose, or belief, often in spite of difficulty. So it is today that I ask you what does perseverance mean to you? Each one of you has faced many difficulties throughout your lives, and this is only the just the beginning. Each and every one of us has at some point needed perseverance, and we will continue to need it in the future. When I hear the word perseverance two things come into mind, my efe class and college.
This research is guided by two major theories. First, Transactional Theory, which is a widely accepted theory of coping developed by Richard Lazarus and Susan Folkman. Second, the Control Theory developed by Charles Carver and Michael Scheier.
Survival, that’s the key; to problems, to school, to family, and to life. Everyone has struggles in life that they look back on and say “I would not be the person today if I did not survive that battle”. But what was helping them? Obviously they had to have some help. Everyone is helpless on their own unless they ask for help or someone sees, feels, or senses that they need help. And they’re called miracles. If they hadn’t just popped into their life, situation, or problem, they would have not made it through the problem. Not only do they help them with their problems, they shape them and build them into the strong young man or woman they become in the end. Other names for these people are; anchors, cornerstones, foundation (what keeps them sturdy). If one has a weak foundation, everything will crumble. If one has a strong sturdy foundation, they will rise above and become
Time flies so fast. Looking back, my high school is just like a movie, a lot of things happened. High School is four years of growing up and probably a time in your life where you go through the most changes. In high school you are able to discover yourself and find out who you are as a person. Each year is special and unique in their own way. My journey through high school was a tough one, especially because I decided to not only focus on academic work but also to invest quality time in extra curriculum activities. I wanted more than just academic excellence; I wanted to be a leader, I wanted to add value to every aspect of my life, I wanted a rounded education and not just mere schooling. My success story is what I will like to share with you; how I really made it and how this defines my personality. My journey in High School was scary, exciting, and successful.
Process Management can be defined as a concept which helps integrate performance excellence and quality into the strategic management of organizations.
