Process Management can be defined as a concept which helps integrate performance excellence and quality into the strategic management of organizations. Process management includes activities such as defining a process, establishing responsibilities, evaluating process performance and also identifying opportunities for improvement. Innovation, on the other hand, can be defined as the conversion of knowledge and ideas into new or improved products, processes or services to gain competitive advantage. After reading the first article it is clear that it focuses mainly on three different programs that are associated with process management. These three processes are listed as TQM, ISO 9000, and Six Sigma.
Based on the readings and research, I gathered

As we all know over the past few years there has been a rapid change in technology due to technological advancements and so a variety of different processes have since been introduced in organizations to help quality improvement, speed, efficiency and better service to customers. Much emphasis today is placed heavily on quality but still, a lot of businesses are not quite able to properly achieve and keep up with these quality systems. The systems which include process management tend to die or be neglected due to the fact that most of these managers do not have the necessary resources, knowledge and time to help work on improving these systems. In the situation where managers may go on to misapply process management, it will obviously start hindering the company and dull their innovation to some extent but not entirely discourage it. So I would say that it is always necessary to have proper applications for these processes. Companies need to create an environment that both enables and encourages the process of innovation. I believe that process management has to be considered as the primary source of innovation. In many businesses, innovation has become an important aspect for high performing organizations and in order for these companies to ensure that innovation sticks around, in the long run; they have to make innovation a part of their day to day business. Process management is a key driving source of innovation. Companies need to go beyond and continue to create new ways of working and thinking. Overall, the whole idea of process management is to improve effectiveness and efficiency. It helps do the right thing, at a faster and cheaper
Initial understanding of a process excellence team is an important foundation for understanding this specific team collaboration. Process excellence as described by Carter (2010) is a “Six Sigma process …used to eliminate defects and inefficiencies in a process or service.” In healthcare, our business is patient satisfaction. “Six Sigma” (Carter, 2010) is a team process that utilizes an approach to effectively control ...
Process philosophy is known as the idea that everything is changing. Over the years, process philosophy has changed the way humans exist and go about their day to day lives. In order to fully grasp the concept of process philosophy we will first take a closer look at process philosophy, as a whole, its history, and the ideas behind this particular philosophy. Then we will discuss the effects process philosophy has had on marriage and family, followed by a brief commentary.
Throughout history, man has been trying to explain man’s origin, purpose, and identity. By trying to figure out these difficult questions, many have come to the realization that either man is either theistic and believes there is a God and a supernatural presence or that man is atheistic believing that there is not God and rejects the supernatural. Because of this man can choose either of those world views. If they in fact choose the atheistic worldview they in turn will turn to another belief or set of values that reject the supernatural and replaces it with another aspect of life. One of those alternate philosophies would be process philosophy. Process philosophy is the belief that reality and life is not fixed or absolute meaning that everything within reality has the ability to change and progress as time continues on. Process philosophy has had a great effect on American society involving civil rights. Within the past century many changes have occurred including: voting and equal rights for blacks and women and rights for those who are homosexual. These rights are direct examples of process philosophy working to its fullest extent within American society.
Large and small businesses, governments, and schools strive to build the next new gadget, manage resources more efficiently, and teach or train in more creative ways. If they set out blindly on a task without proper oversight and thought about the process, then surely the result would be a dismal failure. Project management enables these entities, and various others, to carefully consider the many variables before, during, and after the project actually takes place. Project management refers to the careful planning, organization, and management through a single one-time activity. Projects are non-routine tasks that are set out to be accomplished for a specific amount of time (Trelles-Duckett & Lonergan , n.d.). Projects have an absolute
As per Henry Mintzberg, former president of the Strategic Management Society, “strategy cannot be planned because planning is about analysis and strategy is about synthesis. Strategic planning involves a structure or framework, a set of procedures both formal and informal, and of course content. Beyond these basic elements, the underlying assumptions about strategic planning are that the future can be anticipated, forecasted, managed or even controlled, and that the best way to do so is to have a formal and integrated plan about it in place. The process of planning itself may turn out to be more important than the results, and that process requires both analysis and synthesis. Planning simply introduces a formal “discipline” for conducting long-term thinking about an institution, and for recognizing opportunities in and for minimizing risks from the external and internal environments.
Project Management is a concept of making the project successful through knowledge, processes, methods and experience. Every project is unique since it needs the same mythology of the methods but the circumstances are always different. The success rate of a project can be derived from the output it produces, outcomes or benefits, according to a criteria within agreed budget and timescale.

My research paper will be about “project management”. I feel writing about this topic will help me get better educated on project management; after all it is another degree I want under my belt. A project manager is the person accountable for overseeing a project from its beginning to finishing. This includes preparation, implementation and administrating over the team, resources and scope of the project. Project managers must have the obedience to produce understandable and achievable objective and to see them through to successful finishing point. The project manager has complete accountability and power to complete the given project. Being a great project manager will require for you to be all over the place and you should have the mental capacity to sustain not only for yourself but also for the team you have put together and also for the project that you have agreed to complete. Since the course that I am taking is IT based; I will be doing my paper IT based, although there are several different types of project managers, I chose to just keep it simple and stick to what I’m learning. All project managers tie into one at the end of the day, they all have to the same types of responsibilities, so it will be like I’m touching on all of them at once.
...ll those helps managers to know if the process control is working or not, while the control process is contributing to successful of the current strategy.
