From the above graph, it is clear that the level of physical activity is different from one country to another. The level of physical activity also varies from individual to individual. Therefore, some factors affect the level of physical activity thus bringing such differences. Studies that have been conducted previously have come up with many factors that influence the level of physical activity among the people. What makes one engage in physical activity and what hinders one from getting involved in physical activity. In the general population, the first factor was a lack of awareness of the importance of physical activity. But the problem was getting up in the morning to do exercise. Weather conditions was also another factor affecting the level of physical activity in that particular population. 10% of the people said that the weather conditions could not allow them to do their exercise as most of the time it was freezing, they had to stay indoors. Besides the weather conditions, another group said that they knew the importance of physical activity but because of ignorance or laziness, they did not get involved in any of them. This group made up of 13.7% of the total results. Finally, 5% of the population fell into the box of other factors. There so many advantages that have been given that are related to quality exercise. The first benefit of physical activity to the body is the reduction of risk of certain diseases especially the communicable diseases. Among the conditions includes the cardiovascular diseases. Examples of cardiovascular disease include the coronary heart diseases and stroke. Exercise reduces the risk of these diseases because through exercises one can burn the bad cholesterol that causes the cardiovascular diseases (Dumith et al, 2014).
