Congratulations on your presidency, I hope that your transfer into the White House is easy and uninterrupted. Once you are well situated in your new position, I hope that you can make some changes including, getting rid of diet sodas in schools, whole wheat in schools and changing Obamacare. I believe that schools shouldn't have diet soda because it is worse to your body than normal soda and is linked to several diseases, so I believe that this should be changed. On a similar note, I also believe that whole wheat shouldn't be served in schools because most students very much dislike whole wheat cookies and pizza and bread, so I think having that with your executive power you should remove whole wheat from schools entirely. Another point I would
So, the Lake County High School student body was told today by Jimmy Snyder, that we will be having a school shooting drill sometime in the month of November. Therefore, be prepared for it at any given time of the school day. These people know about the upcoming drill: Parents, Staff, Policemen, and the
There are new types of public charter schools that are another form of opportunity inequality because they are almost a public and private school blended together. These charter schools are becoming more popular and their number of students is growing exponentially. A website called uncommonschools.org defines what a charter school is and how their different when they write
It is about that time for families to start sending their children to school. The first thing that crosses their mind is “I hope my child gets the best education I can give them.” These parents want their children to excel in their math classes, pass that test in science class, and they want them to be the best they can be. These families want the teacher to give their child the best education that they can offer. So what if the best way that teachers could give the best education to that child was to have a class size reduction? What if the smaller the class, the more that child could achieve? That teacher would be able to focus on any
The 2008 presidential election made history by having both the first African American and the first female presidential nominees running against one another. The 2040 election will make election history yet again by having the first, African American, female nominee running for the office of Commander-in-Chief, me! During my time in grade school I became interested in politics. It was out of the ordinary for my age and understanding, but I watched one the greatest, Barack Obama. At this age I really didn’t comprehend what was really going on, I just wanted to do it. As years past on I decided to start writing how I could build my way up on how to be just like Barack Obama. I read multiple books on Barack himself, as well as his wife. I took
“So, ladies and gentlemen, I am officially running for president of the United States, and we are going to make our country great again.”
Hi, I’m Makenna McLeod and I’m running for President, alongside me is my Vice President Carlie Janeczko. Together we make up the Marlie party, because we are the change America needs. I’m forty four years old and I’m a graduate of Brown University. I hold a MD in American Studies and a PhD in Economic Studies. I also attended Harvard Law School where I attended workshops for Public Law as well as International Law. In addition to my time spent at Harvard I met Carlie my Vice President. Carlie, who is forty three, attended Columbia University where she obtained an MD in economics political science as well as a Bachelor of science in foreign service. Carlie then went on to attend Harvard Law where we met in one of their many workshops. I am currently married with four dogs all of different species while Charlie is married and is a mother to six children. We are aiming for a united nation that places equal time and money on military spending, fine arts and culture and health care and education. We both value respect, trust, education, humanitarian needs, safety, honesty and family among many other things. We hope you consider voting Marlie for the change America needs.
The youth of the nation are both the backbone and living representation of what the future will hold. A teacher once told me, that the reason why she teaches is because the knowledge she gives us will greatly affect the world and she hopes it is for a positive effect. Education is essential for a nation to survive and thrive. What that education consists of is determined by what society views as important for the future. Therefore, why is it that the government is more concerned about funding and the other nation 's views than on the young 's people is education. Terrell Bell said the reason for A Nation at Risk, was to convince the Regan administration that the Department of Education is necessary. A Nation at Risk was a masterpiece of propaganda
The first thing to what the next president of the United States should do is try to take a better approach to isis. Isis is one of America's greatest threats, also many places around the world. Isis is killing people, holding people captive, and just putting them through things they don't want to be put through. Many people have died from Isis, and terrorist attacks. Most of them being shootings.
Why should teachers be inconvenienced? This is the question that came to mind when I was ask should school be lengthened so that students can get extra help with school work? As students, we are in school at least seven hours a day for five days a week, and that about 35 hours a week dedicated to educational studies. I feel that it is unnecessary. I have four reasons why I do not feel that extended school is necessary. These reasons are that students do not take education seriously, some students have obligations to their families, more cost to the schools budget, and teachers have a life outside of the classroom.
I am running for president because I want to inspire people to make good choices and to help others with daily school struggles. Two character traits that I have that would make me be a great president is that I am a good listener and I take concerns into action. I can use both character traits to listen to what my fellow classmates have to say about their concerns and take action. I plan to make longer lunches on Friday’s, same locker schedule as the morning, longer locker pass times, create online textbooks, be able to wear no uniform, and to have less homework. As a president I will solve these five problems that face my fellow Spanish River Christian School classmates by putting all my effort into solving these problems we face.
While my husband Barack took care of the political, foreign affairs, health care, environment issues, I wanted to focus on how people in our nation lived their day to day lives. An important issue that I really cared about was the ‘Let’s Move campaign about getting rid of childhood obesity in a single generation. I feel like this out of all my campaigns is my biggest achievement so far because I got healthy eating into schools nationwide, and changed to the food service system to accommodate the new health regulations on Myplate.gov. I created and established Joining forces, to help military men, women, and their families, with their careers and workplace problems. In addition,
Obviously, I pose as the best candidate here. I have the most experience, I value our country, and I conclude, as a whole, we can build up a more desirable country. First of all, as president, I would target and depict food issues around the world. The dinner party has numerous plans such as protecting the lands, decreasing the terrors of pollution, developing a solution to solar and wind energy plans, amongst other blueprints. Two of the large procedures our party did not include before was education improvement and equal rights for all. Our party did not state these before in oder to emphasize the importance of the ideas. To remain a humane society, and to abide being one of the most valuable countries in the world, we must enhance our minds
Parents across America are working longer hours and trying to provide a better and surge future for their children, but Americans are unhappy with the K-12 education system, which we are told is the key for success. The United States has spent more on education any other develop country in the world, and education is ranked 31st and 23rd in Science and it seem that students are falling behind year after year. Yet, we are adding programs to our education system that suggested it would help our kids to more proficient in the classroom. Therefore, is this new approach on education really helping students? It seems that the Common Core debate is not just being fought in the classroom, but also in the court. The issue of a demising education structure
Sam 16 years old, he is a 10th grade student. As a teenage boy who love all about cars and video games. Sam is always thinking about when he will have a driver license. Sam never thinks about his education or even his greed.
Should school uniforms be required? Some say that uniforms help students focus on academics instead of fashion. Others believe that students should have the freedom to choose what they wear to school in order to express their differences and their uniqueness. After considering both sides of the issue, I strongly believe that uniforms should be introduced in primary public and private schools. Wearing school uniforms does not promote unfair comparisons between student’s incomes in terms of clothing; they aid students in developing their inner qualities instead of focusing on the outer aspects of themselves in the crucial earlier years of their lives, and provides a platform for practicing discipline.
