Sushi has taken California by storm due to its healthy nature. Sushi uses fresh ingredients and the average meal is below 400 calories. California is known for people living healthy lifestyles. We can also see that sushi consumption across the country has increased each year. We plan to capitalize on this trend by creating a small sleek modern sushi restaurant called Nichibotsu. We have created a sushi restaurant that embodies the California spirit named Nichibotsu. Nichibotsu is a small bistro that has an open concept. Our restaurant will be located on the cliffs of Malibu and have a breathtaking view of the ocean. To achieve this view we plan to locate ourselves in the cliffs of Malibu, California. Also, Sushi consumption in the US has increased by 28% in the past fours and California consumes the most sushi out of any other state in the US. To keep with our modern feel our main colors will be black and white with hints of red.
