There is a long road ahead of everyone after high school some people don't have a clue what they are gonna do after school. It is a really hard decision what you are gonna do after you graduate but for me it was not that hard to decide. I decided that I wanted to go into the welding career, it is a really good career to get into it is a high paying job but it is hard work and you have to be willing to travel a lot. I decided on this career because I love to weld and i enjoy the hard work. I enjoy building things and laying the beads and saying hey I built that. The first evidence of welding dated all the way back to the bronze age. The first people that found out how to weld were the Egyptians the Egyptians were smart enough to figure out how to weld. In the 19th century they figured out they could use acetylene for welding. A Englishman named Edmund Davy is the one that discovered acetylene in 1836. Then in 1880 Auguste De Meritens figured out how to fuse two lead plates together from the heat generated by an arc. Then in 1890 C.L Coffin discovered carbon arc welding which is one of the most common welding process used in today's world. Then in 1900 is were welding got introduced to a lot more advanced welding such as, seam welding, spot welding, flash butt welding, projection welding, and also electrodes were invented at the same time. I am going to go for there 40 week program to get as many certifications that I can get so I can get paid more in the career and I am doing it so it looks better on my application. Some courses you need to take in school to be able to do all the measurements and math is geometry and algebra. Everyone at one point has to make a decision on what they want to be when they grow up. For me, that decision came rather unexpectedly and was a result of a new found interest due to self-discovery. It all began when I was around the age of 8 and I watched a documentary on aircraft. It documented all about planes, how they work and the science behind them. I was immediately captivated and gaining all that information as a young child really hit the spot in terms of a new found passion and interest that I could see myself later using. This passion stuck with me ever since as I have spent tons of spare time studying different types of aircraft and collecting model planes. It ultimately helped me with my answer to the question of what I wanted to be when I grew up as being an aeronautical engineer. It is not a career most would pursue, but it shows how self-discovery impacted me at a very young age and the impact is so log lasting that it has influenced most of the decision I make now in terms of courses I take at school and the extracurricular activities I am a part of. Some employers look for a certificate or undergraduate degree from a technical school (Study.com). Next, it is important to note where training is available. WATC.edu states, that they offer a welding program. WATC is located in Wichita Kansas. Their welding program allows students to gain knowledge and skills in cutting, shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, and provides some exposure to oxy-acetylene cutting and welding (WATC.edu). In addition, the length and cost of the training is an important consideration. WATC.edu shares, that there are 5 different degree and certificate options. The one I would be interested in is the Welding Technical Certificate option. This one would be a total of 46 credit hours and would cost a total of $10,524. Oxy- fuel welding is usually called in workplace/trades terms oxy acetylene welding, gas welding and oxy fuel cutting which are all use fuel and oxygen to cut and weld metals together. It all started with the famous chemist Edmund Davy, who is suppose to be considered as the first man to make acetylene. By accident in 1836 Edmund while trying to make potassium created a black compound which was mixed with water create a gas that burned greatly. Edmund wanted to use this gas to make lights but the materials and production would cost to much. Calcium carbide was not identified until 1862. In 1892 calcium carbide was created by accident when trying to create calcium from coal tar when the production reacted with water.

The employees are paid very little, even after working long, hard hours. The supervisors of these shops are often cruel, malicious, and brutal. Sadly, these factories are often the only source of income for Third-World workers. As bad as these sweatshops might be, they have pulled many countries and individuals out of poverty. Mine craft can be a useful game in school so i don't see why 6th graders can’t use/play it in beaufort elementary. As Kaley proved with her hanging garden garden , you can make educational things in minecraft. We could make a model of the solar system or we could use it for math and use blocks instead of tiles. According to the fulltime employment, people work 35 to 40 hours per week to be defined as full-time. If more than that number, that should be considered overworking.
