There is a long road ahead of everyone after high school some people don't have a clue what they are gonna do after school. It is a really hard decision what you are gonna do after you graduate but for me it was not that hard to decide. I decided that I wanted to go into the welding career, it is a really good career to get into it is a high paying job but it is hard work and you have to be willing to travel a lot. I decided on this career because I love to weld and i enjoy the hard work. I enjoy building things and laying the beads and saying hey I built that. The first evidence of welding dated all the way back to the bronze age. The first people that found out how to weld were the Egyptians the Egyptians were smart enough to figure out how to weld. In the 19th century they figured out they could use acetylene for welding. A Englishman named Edmund Davy is the one that discovered acetylene in 1836. Then in 1880 Auguste De Meritens figured out how to fuse two lead plates together from the heat generated by an arc. Then in 1890 C.L Coffin discovered carbon arc welding which is one of the most common welding process used in today's world. I am going to go for there 40 week program to get as many certifications that I can get so I can get paid more in the career and I am doing it so it looks better on my application. Some courses you need to take in school to be able to do all the measurements and math is geometry and algebra. You also can take a couple of shop classes like welding or manufacturing to get used to welding and learn how all the machines operate. You will also learn more when you get out in the workforce.
