When taking the two different personality tests, I received the same result for both. I am considered to have an ISFJ (Introvert, Sensing, Feeling, and Judging) personality type. These personality tests I believe help believe get more in depth with the type of person they are but also help them to see there are other people in the world that are like them. A few known people that are similar to my personality type are mother Teresa, and Barbra Bush. Along with learning about others like me, I was able to realize more into my strengths and weaknesses.

When person at work or someone I come in contact with decides to give me an attitude or talk to me in a rude manner I try to think to myself “maybe they are just having a bad day” but most often I just get upset and take it to heart; even when I know I shouldn’t. I also express my feelings very easily, I can be open to anyone about how I am feeling and in a way I think that could also be a good thing. At times I prefer to work alone such as tasks that have deadlines or papers, but on projects or things that require multiple parts I enjoy working in a group. Working alone tends to keep me more focused but when working in a group it is beneficial because there are different ideas from each person which could give a better outcome. I think it is important to be a person who can do both group work and work alone.

I went to Queendom.com and took the `Do I need therapy' quiz. The results were generally good except for one category. The results said that I scored well outside the normal range in relationships, and it indicated that my relationships are at least in some way dysfunctional, and may be causing problems in my life. There were also some areas that I might have experienced symptoms of Bipolar disorder, Simple Phobia, and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. I think that these symptoms ties in with my relationship. I think that the symptoms affect my relationship. However, I don't think that I need therapy, because it's not such a big deal.

I think my main strength is Life Purpose and Service. I am fulfilling my reason for being here by continuing my education at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point and in having chosen my major, Clinical Lab Science. Part of the reason I chose this major is because I enjoy helping people and am passionate about the field. I love helping people in any way I can, I have volunteered for many organizations such as City on a Hill, a volunteer organization where underprivileged people can go to receive food, and health care (physicians, eye doctors, podiatrists, etc). I also volunteer with youth groups in church (Music and Drama camp and Vacation Bible School). I find a significant purpose and fulfillment out of helping others.

Knowing a personal psychological type is key to achieving success in both the work environment and personal relations. One of the most accurate and meaningful personality tests was designed by Carl Jung. I am an intuitive-feeling personality. I am charismatic, participative and very people oriented. I tend to focus on the big picture and not the small specifics. I am not power hungry and try to be helpful and giving to those around me.

Taking a personality test is something that I have had to do a few times. First in college while going for my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, then while attending Airman Leadership School, and finally for this class. Taking these test all three times I have received similar if not the same results so I think that I have answered these truthful each time.
