In the sixteen personalities test that I took online, it was revealed that my personality is “The Advocate”. According to the website, my personality makes up less than one percent of the population; however, Advocates still leave a mark on the world. First and foremost, a particular challenge that follows the advocate personality type one of the challenges that I feel will hinder me gaining my independence, is an over aversion to be extremely private and introverted. is that I am extremely private or introverted. Past experiences have made me fearful that it could hinder my gaining independence. For example, when I first came to Tipton Rosemark Academy during sixth grade, I found it very hard to make friends because I didn’t want to open up to anyone. This hindered me from finding friends for a length of time because I wanted to make sure I could trust …show more content…
Creativity and imagination are undoubtedly at the top of the life. This trait is helpful as when doing projects in class and beyond that require creativity, I feel right at home. Recently in English class, we had to complete a project on allusions and their specific meanings. I found this to be quite intriguing because I was able to decorate the project and made it personal to me. This will help me in maintaining independence because when I get to college or eventually enter the workforce, I will more than likely have to do certain projects which require my creativity. Additionally, I enjoy creating art, learning more about it, and to make things that I feel express who I am as a person. Last year, I finally got to be in an actual art class; moreover, I got to create art about what I wanted and not do it for something or someone else. I know that this will help me in life, because if I’m doing something for me and not for someone else, I will feel more passionate about it which will help further my
This was also referred to as The Advocate which I thought was very appropriate for our assingment. The results state that The Advocate has a strong sense of morality, likes finding solutions for others and one of the strengths listed was that this personality type makes excellent counselors. This type is known for seeing through manipulation and dishonesty and getting to the heart of matters with truth and sincerity. I can see that all of these personality traits are crucial for helping others and dealing with the conflict that arises when advocating for those who are oppressed and face discrimination. Some of the weaknesses stated for this personality type are perfectionist, impatient, extremely private, sensitive, and burn out easily. As I read the weaknesses, I realized that I need to keep self care a priority throughout my education and future career. It also makes sense that a lot of my self care practices are about introspection and finding balance. I think that this assessment was very accurate of my personality and I enjoyed reading about The Advocate personality
Although I am a fairly well-rounded student outside of school, I focus on the passions I am adept at: art and music. Creativity and thinking outside the box are skills that I have possessed and have developed over the years. It gives me great joy when I use my artistic and musical talents for the benefit of others, such as playing the piano and violin at a dinner honoring senior citizens or drawing pictures for young children at a Bible camp. Their smiles in appreciation of my service are priceless. My drive for excellence in my passions show that I give one hundred percent in all that I
An emerging trend among today’s employers is the increased focus on the personality traits of their employees. Whether that focus is on the ability to hire the right person by predicting job performance, or discovering the right “fit” for an employee in a team, a company’s success may depend on these factors. Creating the right team based for the best success of the team is crucial. However, due to project constraints, abilities, market place, etc, the ability to pair the right individuals may not be available.
When I first heard about this assignment I immediately knew what I would write about. Of all the symbols I could choose from, this one I had to write about. This symbol leaves me feeling curious. So, why would I choose the symbol of my choice? Well i’m hoping that writing this essay can help me in some way. The symbol consist of three numbers. The three numbers is 220. These numbers has followed me since the day I recognized them in my boyfriends phone number. These are just three numbers.
Personality plays a role on what type of leader a person will become or how they will manage people. Leadership is the combination of trait, behavior, attitude, value, and belief. My personality result is virtuoso (ISTP). Virtuoso loves to explore and examine their environment; people with this personality are natural makers and move from project to project. People that have this personality love to lend a helping hand and share their experience if it benefits other around them. Virtuoso personality is very uncommon; they are only about five percent of the population. As a female with this personality, it is very rare because they are mostly classified as tomboys by the societal standard. Individuals with this personality are difficult to predict, they have a strong sense of fairness and they believe in doing unto others as to you want others to do to you. Virtuoso struggle with boundaries and guideline, they prefer to move around and step outside the box.
Accepting the differences of others is one of the most difficult things to do. We all have our style, our own preferences, and our own way of dealing with the challenges of life. On one hand, those differences can lead to miscommunication, misunderstandings, and a decline in company morale. However, if we approach these differences with understanding versus criticizing, it would greatly bridge the gap and have a positive impact on everyone involved. Needs work

Type A Personality or Type A Behavior Pattern (TABP) include typical responses of competitiveness, time urgency, and hostility. Type A’s normally strive towards a goal without feeling a sense of joy in their efforts or accomplishments. They also seem to be in a constant struggle against the clock and become impatient with any delays and unproductive time. Type A’s also tend to see the worse in others and display anger, envy and lack of compassion (McLeod, 2017).
The impact of the personality profiles we took in class affected our group only a little bit since we didn’t have enough time to explore that idea, but looking back at our group before we took the profile test I can see how our personalities both worked well together and not. Our group’s profiles were that Kerry was high C, Zac was a high I, Clay was a mix of everything, and I was a high S. We did learn later on after our project was done that Janine was a High I; I assumed she could have been high D. Having all different personalities did come in handy in group situations and tasks. An example was that Zac did bring a lot of humor that was need during our group activities or during the planning of our project. Kerry did help us with perfecting our group motto and made the group idea to call ourselves JACKZ.
Since I was very young, art has been a major part of my life. I lived for creating new things, whether it was on paper, made of clay, or created from wood. Due to my dedication, I have advanced in my art and bring many people entertainment. If creativity had not been implied, no one would have enjoyed the drawings or paintings I had made. Especially in todays world where billions of people are corrupted by the internet and find no time to be...
Our personalities are what distinguish us from each other beyond our appearance; without them, we would all behave and react in the same way. Personality is the reason we are outgoing or introverted, persistent or blaze, and anxious or calm. We each have different levels of these competing characteristics that make us unique. But why are personalities so varied? Personality is determined by an array of factors from genetic and biological to the personal experiences and decisions we have faced from the day we are born. The complexity of our personalities cannot be simply explained, and for this reason there exists many different theories of how it’s developed and personality is still deeply under study. I went into this subject with an open-mind
Family, trust, honesty, friendship, and creativity, are my core values that, as stated by Mark Wright, “define who I am” ( 1). I believe that my family is my priority because without my family, there would be no love and support. Friends can provide comfort and support, but not as much as those who are family. Trust and honesty go hand in hand; therefore, one cannot be trusted without being honest. Friends can easily be lost, and families torn apart due to mistrust, and dishonesty. The first step in trusting in others is to be honest. Creativity, although not directly affecting others, is an expression of who I am. Finding creative projects such as painting or arts and crafts, provides a mood of relaxation, which can also become a bonding time among family and friends. Although these core values are important to me now, they were not always my core values.
As we are each a unique individualization of the infinite Life, a unique personality is required to fully express our potential. We might think of this aspect of personality as being like a suit of clothing. The suit does not make the man. The man makes the suit. But if the suit is ill-fitting, inappropriate, unflattering or distracting and thereby detracts from the inherent qualities of the man, then it becomes a costume or a uniform and says nothing about the man as an individual. Such a personality is worthless, or worse: it is costly. The personality that benefits you, costs you nothing. The personality that is not a good fit, will cost everything you waste upon it: your time, your life, your opportunity, your
Personality takes many shapes and forms and is affected by many factors. My understanding of personality is simply a genetic and environmentally determined set of psychological traits that influence our reactions in the world around us. Genetic because our parents possess a certain set of psychological personality traits that we tend to have in common with them so therefore in my opinion there are heritable personality traits. Personality is environmental because we each have our own separate experiences in the world and these experiences help form our unique personality. Neo-Freudians such as Jung have given us a wide array of ideas of how they believe personality is developed and formatted. Jung in particular has a very interesting
The time to breathe before advancing further in my future projects, the difficult moments instead of discouraging me, these moments give me motivation and the necessary energy to move forward. I am optimist but realistic. My parents taught me that we live in a world that is constantly changing and to succeed we need a smart plan and the ability to adapt and adjust to the changing world environment but more importantly one need to prepare one’s self to succeed. We need discipline and above all an unshakable will to resist difficulties when they happen. “An ongoing work of art” would probably be one of the best ways to describe my life. From very early on in life, I have learn that I can be the artist of my own life through guidance and hard work, I learned that we are the architecture of our life, the artist of our own destiny through work, commitment and determination. Every route taken or not taken will somehow impact our existence and leave a trail like a shooting star in the night sky, the beauty of the trail depends entirely on the nature of our actions in life. This is the first time in my existence I have had the opportunity to write the story of my life in detail. This exercise
