When I think about my future I imagine a life full of success and accomplishment. I believe that The Clark Advanced Learning center will help to set me on my path towards reaching all of my goals and aspirations. I want to attend this school because of the learning environment and educational values it exemplifies. Also, I like how Clark is a small school and I think that it would be good for me to learn along-side other likeminded students that have a strong desire to learn and succeed. Hopefully I will be one of the students chosen to attend The Clark Advanced Learning Center during the next enrollment period.
To begin, I started by attending the annual informational sessions and researching information about Clark from the start of the
8th grade. After learning more about Clark and with the guidance of my parents I decided it would be a good decision to attend Clark. I found that Clark has been an A rated school for eight years in a row, on average students graduate with at least 43 college credits through dual enrollment, students have the opportunity to graduate with their associate degrees and prior students have won many awards including a scholar award winner. As a result of all of these accomplishments I am very motivated to apply to Clark. In addition to all the educational opportunities at Clark, it would also be more convenient because the school is on the grounds of the Indian River State College campus compared to doing dual enrollment at South Fork and having to travel between both locations. Also I believe that Clark’s small mass of students will be good for me because of the extra attention I will be able to receive from the teachers and administrators. Also because of the small school size I would be able to get to know more people as opposed to a bigger school. Altogether, Clark can help me grow as a person and increase my chances to go to a great college. It looks like a great place to spend my high school years and has many classes that I want to take. I am very excited about this amazing opportunity to go to Clark and can’t wait to get started on my road to success.
There are several reasons why I would like to attend the Woodbridge Academy. Academically, a spectacular learning environment makes a superb school. Some examples of a great learning environment are class sizes being smaller, there is amazing collaboration between the students and faculty, and the school counselors will always be determined and will lead the student in the right direction. Another reason, why I would like to join the academy is what the academy provides. The Woodbridge Academy is a school that provides Allied Health and Biomedical Sciences which is perfect because my future dream is to become a pediatrician and Woodbridge Academy can prepare me for career. Additionally, Woodbridge Academy has high standards for teaching which
I have been interested in many subjects through my years in high school; though many of my fascinations have died out over time I still respect and love English. Half of my family is built on poets and story writers, so when I announced my curiosity about this subject they jumped at the opportunity and fed me the idea of being an English major. No one on either side of my family has either: never attended college or never finished. I have many plans on being the first woman in my family to go and graduate at a university or college.
Early College will not only provide the education I need, but it will also shape me into the adult I hope to become. I believe wholeheartedly that I am an excellent candidate for this program. I would make a good candidate for multiple reasons. For instance, I want to learn.
There are many ways that the Early College Program with the goal of me fulfilling my dreams. It will help me obtain valuable life skills. It also will allow me to start my career much sooner than average. Also it will allow me to have a glimpse at how I must approach my work once I am in College. There are many opportunities that the Early College Program will open up for me.
I want to be in ASB because I think that this is a great opportunity for me to practice my leadership skills to help all students at Medea Creek. I enjoy helping people and working with others and I know that ASB is a wonderful chance for me to do so. I know that our school should have voices that help others who cannot speak up for themselves and I will help them raise their voices in school. I want to be part of ASB because I think that this can help me mature, and also help achieve my goal for life, which is becoming the president of the U.S. I believe that ASB is a unique opportunity to help me become a game-changer in our school and community. ASB students make changes in their community every day. I think that that is an amazing thing, getting to impact your community every single day.
The reason I feel that I want to become a student at Hollins University in the “Horizon” program is the fact that I would be a part of something bigger. Something more significant that I
Two years ago, I embarked on a journey that would teach me more than I had ever imagined. As a recent college graduate, I was thrilled to finally begin my teaching career in a field I have always held close to my heart. My first two years as a special education teacher presented countless challenges, however, it also brought me great fulfillment and deepened my passion for teaching students with special needs. The experiences I have had both before and after this pivotal point in my life have undoubtedly influenced my desire to further my career in the field of special education.
... My pursuit hasn't changed, but I am still unbalance. Currently being a student at Antelope Valley College is part of the journey I need to face and keep working hard. However, my dream university is to become a student in California State University of Long Beach. I want to have an opportunity to be part of the student around there because I have heard a lot of good things about the University and I try not to let you down, because I ou to show me the way , be part of the school sport and to brings out the best in me .
I originally joined Upward Bound because my older brother was in the program. I saw that he was getting a lot of academic help from this program, such as tutoring. I was beginning my freshman year, and I figured that it would be intimidating and overwhelming. Since I knew that I was typically a procrastinator, I knew that this program would help me stay on top of my school work and even get ahead. Upward Bound provided me with the extra help that I wasn’t getting from my high school.
When it comes to the planning and preparation at Carson- Valley the teachers would come to together while the children would watch a movie on Friday because Friday was the children’s movie day. I would see teachers writing lessons plans and cutting out activities for their arts and crafts. I saw teachers printing worksheets that they were going to do. When I was a Carson Valley they gave me a template of a lesson plan but never an actual lesson. I observed two different lessons in the classroom one was with the letter “T” and the another one was the children learning their names. I found the lesson on the letter T interesting because the teacher made the class so involved with the lesson. Instead of the teacher giving the children different
I’m a student at Tompkins Cortland Community College this is my first semester as a college student. I plan to go to college for four years and only be at TC3 for this one semester, then transfer to a four year school. College has grown around the world more than ever and more people are attending college more than ever. I have chosen to go to college because of the rewards after graduation. Yes it is another four years of school but by getting more education and an extended degree gives me more opportunities for better jobs and more money. The career I have chosen to study is business administration. I am hoping that it takes me to a great job managing a company or possibly being an accountant.
Andragogy offers a medium through which adult learning can be facilitated. It is essentially a humanistic educational process that values the individual learner. The powerful relationship between the instructor and student does not compromise educational values and learning expectations. Andragogy adds to the cognitive, affective, interpersonal and psychomotor domains of adult learners in order to bring about transformation. Knowles's version of andragogy presents the individual learner as one who is autonomous, free, and growth-oriented; therefore andragogy is an important and potentially useful avenue for both instructors and learners. The purpose of this paper is to involve initial work toward comparing traditional and adult learning theories and models.
Although money isn’t everything, being financially secure is very important. Money can’t buy love or happiness, but it makes life easier knowing you have a house to go home to, food in your fridge, and clothes to put on your back. My family had a hard time when I was growing up with making ends meet and I want to make sure that I do everything in my power to keep that from happening to my future family. If I apply myself in college and strive for knowledge, I will have the potential to become very adept in my field which will help me achieve my goal of financial stability because I’ll be able to keep a job. I also hope for my future that I stay open to new experiences, whatever the world may throw at me. I want to be able to travel and see new cultures, societies, and people. Hand-in-hand with traveling, I would love to volunteer all over the world, as well. I take great pride in doing volunteer work and it would be an enlightening experience to be able to help out around the world. Something else I am passionate about is music. I hope that I have the time and ability to continue on with my music career as my life progresses. Doing bands and music things at UWEC will help me to achieve this goal because I will learn immensely under great instruction. Going to UW Eau Claire will aid me in reaching all of these goals I have set myself. I am excited to see what my future holds for me
...ersonally, professionally, and spiritually. Many of the instructor’s non-judgmental attitude, patience, caring, educational, and experience has helped me to achieve and improve overall at GCU. The knowledge that I study from GCU will allow me to continue my higher education, which will prepare me for the future, and for making a difference in someone life.
I made the choice to attend ATA because I was very interested in the nursing field and made the decision to get ahead in my career. ATA gives me the opportunity to have hands on experience to help me pass the CNA certification. I have always had a big heart for people and love caring for people as much as I care for myself. That being said, I feel like I have a bright future in the healthcare field. My goal is to attend HGTC for two years to get all my core classes out of the way then, transfer to a four-year college. My goal in this career is to hopefully one day run my own health care place, I like to be in charge and am a very responsible worker which is great traits to have to achieve this goal. I need to do some more research about
