From a young age I have been genuinely fascinated by the intriguing world of computing and technology. I have always enjoyed keeping up-to-date with the latest advances in technology and have remained amazed at the speed of computerized developments over the past few years. For as long as I can remember, I have been encouraged by my cousin. He has stronger enthusiasm on scientific research and help me discovered another enthralling world to explore. From my cousin, I learned that for scientific research should not only have a tremendous enthusiasm, but have the rigorous study style and indomitable perseverance to face many difficulties encountered in the future.
I have demonstrated a keen mind since my childhood. For years, I consistently outperformed all of my classmates in such challenging subjects as mathematics, physics and biology. Since my overall score in the College Entrance Examination belong to upper 20% of 260,000 students in Shandong Province, I won acceptance into the China Agricultural University and became an undergraduate student major in Computer Science and Technology. During my winter vacation 2015, I obtained a rare opportunity to participate in an electronic science and technology company as an intern. Over this one month span, I finished the required tasks and made some good friends. The first piece of technology that was introduced to me was the amazing, ground-breaking GameBoy created by Nintendo. My parents believed that my obsession with video games in my juvenile years would be the cause of my downfall when I would become an adult with no job, no money, and still lived with my parents. I admit that I did have an addiction in the beginning, but over the years it moderated as I became more attracted to what was actually done to develop the devices and programs that once ensnared me. Enrolling into a vocational high school, I selected Programming & Web Development as my choice of trade in order for me to learn more about this extraordinary field of science. Soon I began compiling my own applications, but with a method unorthodox compared to my classmates; I believed that the vivid aesthetics and simple navigation displayed on applications were just as crucial as the tediously compiled, intricate code virtually hidden underneath. With every annual keynote that was broadcasted from numerous Silicon Valley companies, their latest innovations constantly entertained my curiosity. Internships are resurfacing as an educational approach that can possible bridge the gap between education and work when aligned with the values and expectations of the major key players, scholars, employers and educators, with the substantive support of policy makers.
‘Research is creating new knowledge’, as said, since my childhood I was always into experimenting on things, even the smallest radio set in my home was a huge miracle to me as a child. Exploring into the parts of it was great learning. So thus my interest towards technology has begun, which made me participate and win various Science fairs conducted during school level. I stood FIRST in the SIR C.V.RAMAN test as an outstanding student in Science. Being one of the best students in my school I have scored 77% , which was one of the listed topper’s grades, in my X Standard.
I took up Computer Science and Engineering as my discipline in Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, one of the premier institutes in India. My undergraduate education has been a great learning and enriching process for me. It exposed me to all the core areas of Computer Science like operating systems, database management systems, networks and network security, data structures, algorithms and software engineering. These courses have given me a good foundation in the core concepts. My interest lies in Database Management, Programming Languages, Theory of Computation, and Software Engineering. I am fully acquainted with the fast growing subjects like Object Oriented Programming, Analysis and Design. On the other hand, the intensive laboratory classes exposed me to a fascinating world of experimentation. It was here that I discovered the qualities of perseverance and diligence in myself. I feel that these courses have done a lot to prepare me for my future studies and research work.

After graduating with my culinary degree I worked in several kitchens learning what it is to be a subordinate. After a little over 2 years, the economy was tanking, and the restaurants I worked for continued to fail or struggle. I decided I needed a career change. I joined the Navy as a Deep Sea Diver. Over the Past seven years I have quickly moved up the ranks, and now I am in a position of major authority.
Learning is a continuous process and the day that you stop learning is the day that you start decreasing your rewards and lower levels of satisfaction. My ardent desire to acquire knowledge has motivated me to pursue higher studies at graduate level, and to take up a career in research in industry. Internships should first be examined that, when implemented at fullest potential, these opportunities can provide companies and students with a competitive edge in today’s business world. Subsequently, it can be shown that internships assist organizations and companies with temporary or seasonal project and task completion. Lastly, internships will be clarified as to how they allow students to gain valuable experience before entering the workforce. Being well acknowledged about the above saying has pushed me a mile further for every aspect of my life. The four year engineering course in Information Technology has always been a beautiful experience and has inspired me to put the knowledge into my Masters degree.
