Looking to the future
If I could do anything in this life what would it be? I feel that there is many things that I want to be, I want to be a great dad, I want to be a great teacher, I want to become an educated person who respects others regardless of what they went through and just try to be a more helpful person to my family and everyone I come into contact with, I want to be a strong person emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. If I could do anything it would to articulate my feelings in a way that moves people into being a better person. If I could anything in my life it would be, to figure out the complexities of life be able to describe it in great detail such as, depression, oppression, social justices, violence and just life in general I feel that, becoming a future teacher could help many American Indian kids on my reservation as well as my own. I hardly had any male role models in my school that I could relate to until my later years.

I will finish my teaching program and graduate in 2020, I want to be educated to help other people, I want to better myself as a human and treat people with respect that they show me. The time is now to start developing myself into the person I want to be in the future, if I could do anything it would be to do great things and be humble while I take advantages of the many opportunities I have in my life. I will be working on my professionalism as I continue my education by working with my classmates, getting feedback on my work and learning from it. I will be working out every time my body allows me too, I will be eating healthy, getting the sleep I need, be more social, sit down and have conversations that involve many of the issues that go on in our society. I will also take care of my mental and spiritual self by keeping my mind busy by doing activities that I enjoy doing and most time I will try to find activities that involve both me and my
I’m quite curious as to what my life will be like in five years. Will I be on the beach with my hot boyfriend? Will I be sleeping all day in my California King? Or will I just be some lame college student doing homework on a saturday night? Who knows which one will be me, but I’m sure it’s neither of the first two. Looking forward, I hope to at least have a plan. I might not be out on the beach or be getting a full night’s sleep, but I hope that I’m at least happy.
There are a lot of reasons why I chose to pursue pharmacy as my career and they all point to the most important reason: pharmacy is a great fit for my life and is something I have become increasingly passionate about. It started when I was researching careers with my parents and my dad suggested pharmacy and, simply put, it sparked my interest because at the time it was one of the few things I thought I would not hate doing. A healthcare career has always been where I put myself in the future, mainly because most of my family members are in the healthcare field. However, I have never been one that could directly help the wounded or deal with anything gory, but am very intrigued by the growing science of pharmacy. As I continue exploring pharmacy, the more I enjoy learning about it and feel like I could excel in this career.
I grew up in a household where education was seen as a form of self-improvement and empowerment. Being raised in rural Central California by two Filipino immigrants who had nothing more than a high school education, my family did not have an educated or intellectual history I could look up to. That is, until my mother decided to get a college education at the age of 45. I must have been in middle school at the time, before which the word “college” was never really spoken or talked about and I could honestly say I only had a vague idea of what it even was. Rather than having the traditional sit down talk with my parents about higher education, my mom clearly spoke to me through example. I distinctly remember times where I would be her study buddy, and while doing so, I found myself leisurely enjoying the pages of her science textbooks. Instead of asking her questions related to her upcoming text, I inquisitively asked juvenile questions like, “How do the genes make us?” Today I know that this is a very big and complex question that we are still trying to answer. Yet at that moment, I wanted an answer, but mother did not have the solution, nor did the textbook. That was the birth of my pursuit of scientific career.
While working through this past year of school my future has become my top priority. I always make sure that I work hard, that I am keeping my grades high, looking into activities to better my academic career, as well as being the best person
Growing up I had always been asked the infamous question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?", and my answer had always been a shrug or a simple "I don 't know yet". If I was asked the same question now, I could confidently and very passionately say, "I want to be a doctor; a humanitarian who brings positive change in someone 's life.". It seems like a very general statement but I truly hope to one day become somebody who can use her expertise and profession to help others.
Please discuss the following items in the order given. Briefly respond to all areas listed.
My decision to become a doctor did not come in a moment of blinding revelation, but as
If you were to project yourself into the future, what would you want to be doing in two years? Or five years? Or ten years? Or by the end of your life? Write down the twelve desires closest to your heart right now; make sure they are positive, and that you affirm them in the Now (as in, "I am now snowboarding in Alaska", rather than "I will be skiing in
I hope my hard work is seen despite the little things that impose a challenge to my education. I am always searching for opportunities, such as internships and enrichment programs. Outside of academics, I enjoy time with my family and being involved in sports along with volunteer opportunities in my communities. Volunteering is a principle my mom has instilled me because she's always inclined with the community and my school.
As I am preparing for a new chapter in my life, I have put a lot thought in about what I want out of life and what to look forward to as I get older. In order for one to achieve anything, they need to set goals to reach for. I have a handful of goals for my future, short term and long term, that I will actively work towards in my college years and beyond. In my time at UW Eau Claire, I plan to be involved and engaged in student activities on campus. Being active will help me meet new people, build a better resume, and have fun at college. At UWEC, I would like to get involved in anything musical, along with various clubs and Greek life. Similarly, another goal of mine is to have a job on campus. Having a job will not only help me make some
...my education at Concord University studying Elementary Education. After graduating with my Bachelors of Science in Education, I plan to get a job as a teacher in an elementary school. I believe that there is a need for compassionate and caring teachers in elementary schools. At such a young age, I believe that it is important for elementary students to have positive role models in their lives. I am very interested in pursuing my Masters Degree at some point, but my main goal is to get out into the school system as a teacher.
Many teachers over the years asked us, “Where do you see yourself in 10 years from now?” and my answer will always be the same. I see myself with a family, happily married and working the career of my dreams. On the other hand, when teachers ask my fellow classmates the same question their answer changes every time.
As a senior in high school, many students ponder the big question of life that seems to be asked by many. No, that question is not where do you want to go to college, what are you doing after high school, that question is where do you see yourself in ten years. As I reflect on my childhood, I have many dreams and aspirations that I would like to accomplish within the next ten years of my life. In ten years I can see myself having many of my goals accomplished, if not accomplished, I will be working on accomplishing those goals to fulfill my life. I live with my mommy and daddy in La Cresta, along with my brother.
I grew up in a culture of science. My roots lay in rural Oregon with a biologist and geologist for parents and a curiosity for the natural world at my core. However, through college and my professional career, I have learned the importance of melding this ecological understanding of conservation with another vital aspect of preserving nature: the historical, economic and cultural knowledge of a land and its people.
My ideal future would be being able to travel to places where I’ve been as well as to places where I haven’t been. I’d imagine myself being happy because I’d have everything I’ve ever wanted. Getting married, buying a house- even if it were a small house with only a few bedrooms in a quiet neighbourhood. After buying a house(,) I’d have a child so that I could spoil them the way my parents spoiled me. In my ideal future(,) I would work at home so that I could be able to spend time with my family I would be my own boss. On my spare time that I would have I would start a an animal shelter one in a foreign country I would help stray animals have a home, people who can not afford to have pets could come play with dogs and cats as well as adopt them. I’d also keep myself entertained by being activite and having my own gymnastics gym.
