I volunteer at Bay Area Humane Society or (B.A.H.S.) with my mother and my sister. My family has adopted two cats from B.A.H.S.(including cami). Hemi and Cami are a bonded pair. They play all the time like goof balls. They are four years apart, but they act like they’re kittens even though that Hemi is six and Cami is two and they are best friends.
When my family and I went to go adopt a cat we all agreed on a ginger cat, but what ginger cat was a different story. We were in a small pink room with gray door and a cement floor with a cat and my dad didn't like how much he was shedding but it was spring. We were in the introducing room with a few cats, but they were aggressive and didn't like us so we couldn't adopt those cats so we asked the
front desk if there was any more and there was one in Petco East. We went to Petco East and then we found Cami. We all loved the small ginger cat with the cropped tail with a white patches on her neck and belly. We found her in the litter box and the litter box was right up against the corner of the gray kenel the top one with two half sides. We adopted her and brought her home and on the ride home we were coming up with names for her. “We should rename her what should we name her?” Her name could have come thing to do with cars I’m thinking cam for Cam shaft.” Said Dad Ryleigh replied “no that sounds to much like a boy name and Maisonette is a girl so what about Cami.” We all agreed with Cami as her name. “Hey Cami and Hemi rhyme.” I stated “Cool i didn't see that.” Dad answered Then my mom came home and met Cami, my mom was volunteering at B.A.H.S. that day. We all have fun playing with her she rolls on her back so we see her belly and attacks us with no claws what a goof ball. Hemi and Cami are now a bonded pair take one back take both back to B.A.H.S.

Dogs and cats can vary when it comes to the energy level. Most dogs are very active and hyper, most want to play all the time. Cats on the other hand, can be very lazy, and want nothing to do with the owner. All they want the
.... They seem to be well adapted to making friends and playing with them nice.
The standard Disney story from the mid 1930s to the beginning of the 1940s is one of the pursuit and somewhat linear progression towards realism. Many theorists used the term ‘hyperrealism’ to describe what appeared to be Disney’s “attempt to represent reality in a medium predicated on artificiality” during the Disney-Formalist period (Disney Formalism, Pallant, 40). Indeed, as the animation and technology employed by the company became more advanced, productions relied less on gag-based humor and metamorphosis and more on realistic animation to develop character and narrative. Many critics of this evolution viewed them as “a move away from animation’s main province, as well as a kind of non-artistry produced from simply duplicating live
Many pets can go through terrible things in their life's. They can be blind, deaf, small, big, and even have prosthetics. But nothing stop these two certain pets from having a good time. The two pets are Driftwood and Crispy bacon. The two have been friends for a while and decided to have a little fun in their life.
When you talk to pet owners about owning a cat versus a dog, it stirs up much controver-sy in many ways. By looking at both cats and dogs, the cat outweighs the dog in many ways, which makes the cat the superior selection when making a final decision on which one to get. Cats have very desirable qualities that make them an award winning choice to many owners. The qualities that appeal to most are the ability of the cat to live in small spaces, they do not eat large amounts of food for their meals, and they are very sedentary and independent in nature making them a low maintenance pet. One additional desired feature is cats are well suited for owners that have a very busy lifestyle and minimal time to give to their pet. This added feature
I remember, pushing my small hands and face up against the glass of the small pet enclosure at Pet Smart, for hours and hours, taking close looks at which Hamster I wanted. My mother kept on pushing me to get different, cute and cuddly short haired hamsters, But i knew which one i wanted. A overly playful, ginger, long haired, snaggle toothed hamster, he had a saber tooth that went through his upper lip. For some reason, i found him cuter than any other

Sarah Anderson of Rolling Hills Veterinary Hospital tells a story of a kitten given to her as a gift by her husband. " After recently losing my beloved cat to sudden illness, I was devastated. My husband thought he could ease my pain by surprising me with a 6-week-old kitten. I wasn’t ready for a new cat.
In the 21st century, depression, anxiety, and stress are at an all time high in society. More and more people are committing suicide and being diagnosed with mental health issues. More and more kids are beginning to get anxiety and stress issues at a young age. Sometimes, pets are the easiest for children to talk to about their issues. "Even though pets may not fully understand or respond verbally, the level of disclosure to pets was no less than to siblings...The fact that pets cannot understand or talk back may even be a benefit as it means they are completely non-judgmental. Your pet doesn't understand you. But they also totally understand you”(Dahl). Growing up with pets at such a young age, I was also a child that did this. It may not seem like it to adults, but sometimes a family pet really is easier for a child to talk to because they can’t really respond back. It gives a child a chance to rant about their issues without someone talking back or even tell them their issues aren’t
I have a love for cats. Ever since I was a teenager I always wished for a cat of my own. When I moved in a three story apartment in California, the Manager of the complex said that cats were allowed in the units. I mentioned to my Aunt at the time that I was searching in the newspapers under advertisements for cats wanted. One cool breezy evening, my Aunt called me and said that a friend of her's named Judy had a cat named Katie who did not get along with her other two cats. So I agreed to meet with Judy to see if I'd love to adopt Katie.
We all are busy people who are out of the house most of the day. We need a companion to help us ease the stress from daily life. For example, if you are purr-catinating on essays or preparing for speeches late at night, you at least have a companion by your side. A great companion is the cat, you get to pet a fluffy thing and get free scratches. Why cats? Well, cats are purr-ty interesting creatures. According to Discovery News, in 1960s, the CIA tried to turn a cat into a spy, but un-fur-tunately, they failed when the cat was ran over by a cab. Another interesting fact according to Buzzfeed is female cats are typically right-pawed while male cats are typically left-pawed. There is also a cat island named Tashirojima that are terrorized by stray cats in Japan. The main problem is there are too many cats in the shelters that need a home, according to ASPCA, approximately 3.4 million cats enter the shelters every year. Well the solution to this is you can adopt a cat. There are a few things you need to do before adopting a cat.
I could be concocting my very best homemade Pad Thai, with shrimp money bags, and none of it was as impressive or as interesting as the furry cat on the couch, not to mention the personal escort to and from the car to the door from the sweet, polite, black lab outside. But I can't really blame my guests, for Charlie and Vegas' cute faces and gestures worked their magic on me as well. And more times than not, they got what they wanted in life. After losing Charlie in a car accident, and Vegas being returned to its rightful owner, I decided to get a new cat.
I am the third child out of four in my family, I have one older sister, an older brother and then a younger brother. I was born on January 20th 1997 in Clinton, Ontario. This means I was probably conceived the middle of May sometime. My mother did not take pre-natal pills before I was born because I was not really expected, but she was taking vitamins during this time to stay healthy. My mother did see our family physician while she was pregnant with me. She saw the doctor every month for the first and second trimester and then she saw him every other week in the last trimester. In these checkups they would see if I was gaining weight, check blood pressure, blood levels and just to see if everything was healthy. My mom did not have any screening tests done to see if there was anything wrong because it was not very common to get screening done in our
