Throughout the semester, I’ve learned many stylistic techniques and felt more confident and expressive in my writing. All my pieces in the portfolio revolve around my personal identity, which I had not intended in the beginning. I wrote about a significant childhood memory, a long lost beloved place, the topic of animal rights, and a consistent pattern I’ve noticed that has shaped my outlook on my life and on myself.
