Personal Narrative: My Experience At Disney World

When I was younger, my parents would take us to Disney World almost every year. There was always excitement and I always felt like butterflies were flying around in my stomach from the joy. There was so much anticipation that built up when we would stand in an enormous group of people, at 7:00 in the morning, waiting for them to open up the gates. All the little kids, including me, would scream their heads off like wild banshees and race like cheetahs to their favorite rides. One of my favorite rides was the Tower of Terror. It dropped me as fast as lightning and made my stomach roll with fear! Disney World has always been one of my favorite memories. I always dreaded those 10 hour car trips because it felt like time creeped by like a snail crossing the garden. We always packed our car up so full that it looked like we were moving rather than taking a trip. My mama was always like a travel guide when it came to Disney World. She always knew where bathrooms, cafes, stores, rides, first aid and characters were. She could have been hired as a full time safari guiding tourists through the exotic, wild, and adventurous parts of Disney World. My all-time favorite ride at Disney World was located at Animal Kingdom. Expedition Everest has got to be the best roller-coaster in the world. That ride gave me a buzz of energy just like if you went bungy jumping or skydiving. The wait was always at least an hour, but my clever mom always got the fast passes so we didn’t have to wait. I love my family just as much as I love dance or chocolate cake. We made these memories together and that’s the best part of being a family. I had the happiest times of my life when we went to our Disney World trips, and I will always thank my tour guide mama for those golden days of being together and sharing exciting rides and shows that I will keep in my heart
