Universal Studios My dad, my brother, my cousin and I went to Universal Studios March 18. “ Do you guys want to go to Universal Studios on Saturday?”, my dad said excitedly. “We don't even have to do any line on the rides because your cousin Melody has to use a knee brace and she can't stand for longs periods of time so she can skip all the lines.” After we heard that we didn't have to do line my brother and I automatically said yes to him so he called my cousin and told her the news. My brother had gone to Universal Studios on his birthday but I didn't go …show more content…
It was my dad who immediately went in and told us to start changing to go to Universal Studios. It was still dark when we left and there was hardly anyone on the streets. After an hour of driving, we started getting hungry so we stopped at a Mcdonald's. When we started driving again I noticed that the sun started rising. By the time we got there it was already seven and when we started heading to Universal Studios the traffic started to come in. Although we got there early there was still a lot of people trying to get in the park. After we got parking we got parking my dad said,” Are you guys ready to go into Universal …show more content…
When we got to that section I saw that there were two rides there so we went to the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. It was a 3D type ride that I had to make my dad go into because he doesn’t like getting into any rides. When we finally convinced we actually rode it three times. After that ride, we went to the second one there. It was a rollercoaster that was only about twenty feet tall but my dad was still scared of it. After that ride, my dad officially didn’t go to any more rides and I made fun him for chickening out. He bought us butterbeer in one of the stands. It was a slushy drink that tasted like butterscotch. We went into the stores that had the wands and the one that had all the different candy from Hogwarts. After visit Harry Potter we went to the studio tour. You get into a tram and you see famous backlot movie studios and a 3D King Kong. After the tram, we went into the Simpsons section. We went into one of the restaurants and we “recharged our batteries”. After eating we went into the Simpsons ride. It was another 3D ride that the Simpson family and you go visit Krustyland. After the ride, we went to the downstairs lot where there are 3
“Being a child is the happiest age in human life” is the phrase that most people agree on the cause of the reason that in childhood, people have less responsibility comparing with other ages. Being the children is just study, play and watch the movie likes cartoon. There are two famous companies which are Walt Disney company and Universal Studio company that has been producing the cartoon movie for a long time; moreover, although these two companies are the competitors from each other’s, both continue doing the business because these two companies have the three significant differences in term of the theme park, movies, and the revenue.
Universal Studios is an action pack theme park were you can go on a quest with Shrek and find his wife princes Fiona or help the min in black kill aliens in an alien hunt to save society. Universal is also known for the character interactions, while walking to our next you I ran into a transformer patrolling the streets making sure we get to our next ride safe, then I seen the minions from despicable me waving and talking to people. Universal also have a variety of other things to do such as shows. One of my favorite shows is the blue man group. The blue man group Is a musical and somewhat of a comedy show using your everyday things an instruments such as, a garbage can, glass bottles, glass plates and many more. After attending the park, we went back to the hotel to get dinner and bowl at the hotels bowling alley called
...ey walk out of a haunted house, ensuring that it is going to be a scary one. Nowadays it’s hard to find a place to go to on Halloween that isn’t overplayed and not scary at all, but there is a place and its Universal Studios.
After walking past those, my family and I walk under the giant globe. It is an enormous structure and walking under it made me feel like an ant. It was white and had the appearance of a giant disco ball. There was a line to go inside the globe too. This was a ride called Spaceship Earth. It felt cold and cramped walking into the globe. When I got on the ride, it brought us back in time. Anyone could choose their own language, so we thought of listening to it in Japanese. This showed cave men, the Romans, the Egyptians, people from the 1800s, and people from now. This ride also showed us what we would do in the future. It was a funny feature, where it showed ourselves flying in hover cars and using other futuristic inventions. That was the end of the ride after that.
Disney promotes sexisim by forcing young girls to live in a patriarchal world. Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The little mermaid, Aladdin, and Snow White are all examples of popular Disney movies that encourage young viewers that they need a man to save the day. Yes, it’s true that there are recent movies such as Moana and Frozen that prove otherwise, but how long will it take to completely get over the fact that women are mainly viewed as secondary citizens compared to the men? There are countless examples of how Disney movies influence this theme, and how much the female characters’ actions, ideas and thoughts are not included in a Disney movie.
Today was my sister's birthday! We went to Animal Kingdom, Which had a really fun ride called The Legend Of The Forbidden Mountain, where you go up the coaster normally and drop backwards. I screamed really loud! After a while, we got lunch. We went to a restaurant in the park, where I had the best grilled cheese of my life. We spent a few more hours at the park and left at dinner time. That night, we had dinner at a really nice restaurant. I got steak and mashed potatoes and we left after eating for about an hour and went back to our resort. When we got back we went to our cousin's room and watched
So, have you ever been to Disney World? Most of you probably have been there. I didn’t go to Disney World until November of last year with my family. I wasn’t sure what it would be like, but it was incredible. It was a lot of fun, and it was a great experience because I was with my family.
Wihin a couple of minutes William Franicola checking on us. Harry asked want he wanted commenting he was here to check wheels on carts. I witnessed William was checking the wheels on cart weeks ago after the Taste of Westmorland Event. At Universal Studios when we (my family) got there (we didn’t go to a hotel) the impression (the entrance) I had was totally different from what it actually was (I was so surprised!). Such as, my thought was that it was an arch with the words “Universal Studios” (in “Bold” text) engraved in the arch (it was made of stone). But, theirs (Universal Studios) was different, like, there was a fountain with words inside (I forgot what it said). Then, after all that stuff with tickets there was their “planet logo” on a stand (or something). Also there was stuff from their movies and you could see some of the rides! Then after (even more!) ticket
Everything seemed to be going smoothly that morning. Dad loaded the luggage and packed the cooler. He even packed the extra pillows. My family was very happy as we prepared for our trip. I was twelve years old and my brother, Jobie, was ten. My dad had told us for years about his first trip to Disney Land in California when he was a young Marine.
Aladdin may say he can show you the world, but what world is he really showing you if he is lying about who he really is? In a world full of lies and deception people believe they can count on Disney to have the best movies for their young children, but is Disney really what is best. Although Disney movies may be seen as delightful classics, many people believe the movies can affect children negatively.
While looking through classics, there's always one out of all the others that grabs your attention more. Take it for example songs and films, everyone has a favorite song or a favorite film. Many people are fond of the old classic Disney films; have nothing to watch? Throw on an old Disney film and surely everyone is bound to enjoy it. For a long time during the 20th century Disney came out with plenty of classics; Snow White, Dumbo, Bambi, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, and much more continued to show up on the big screen never failing to put a smile on someone's face.
When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited. We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I was so excited about going at Disney world. When I saw the big mirror ball from the entrance, I was amazed. Disney world had a wide variety of rides. There were tons of rides that shocked me. Some of these rides made you feel like you were riding in a jet because of how fast they were. There was even a roller coaster ride in the huge mirror ball. It was a slow ride, but I still liked it because there was air conditioning inside the ball. We spent all day at the park until we had ridden everything. That night Disney World had a firework show. The fireworks seemed like they lasted forever with the amazing colors bursting in the air one right after another. When the firework show finally ended my parents told me that it was time to leave. I was...

After we got off the airplane, we rented a car and drove to my Uncle Joe?s house. We finally got there and then we all went out to eat dinner. We went to some Italian restraunt and boy was it good. To this day, I have never tasted anything as good as the Veal Picata I had that day. I ate so much that I could hardly move and once I got back to my uncle?s, I just passed out and went to bed. I had a big and exciting day ahead of me. I was going to Universal Studios and I couldn?t wait.
