The list of behaviours in the leadership behaviour chart is used as a guideline in my development of tactics that enable me to lead my company to a greater height as a project manager. For each behaviour I allocate a certain amount of time, this helps me manage time. The reason I spend more time brainstorming, reflecting and observing is that it serves as a backbone for my success as a project manager. During brainstorming sessions, I try to avoid criticizing or rewarding ideas. I try to create chances for others to contribute and analyze incorrect assumptions about the problem. I learning to motivate myself every morning as I was taught. Being a good listener and observer goes a long way to build you into a perfect comeback. I saw that I have to flare to do better if only I work hard at it. It brought out the leadership part of me and I put my effort to make sure I achieve the goals I set.

Section C: Reflect I notice that the ideal time I want to spend my leadership energy and how I actually spend it especially with reflecting (quiet time for thinking), is that I spend more time talking, convincing and needing to be in the spotlight instead of taking some time out to work out things before talking. This leaves me talking out of point sometimes.

I spent more time brainstorming because they enhance the atmosphere. Innovative operation or ideas motivates everyone. No idea is criticised during brainstorming, captivating proposals can be refined progressively. Combined effort effect allows better ideas to be generated.

Be focused, be logical, be creative, be a bit emotional, live by example, be positive, be fun, be yourself, manage time effectively, self-confidence, Keep your promises and stick to your commitments, consistency, and respect. Lastly, a quote by Kevin Adkins, says “Any great leader understands that they will only lead and have followers if they are strong. People heed to strong leaders. A team needs to know that their leader is in a position to make the most difficult decisions while watching over the great good for the entire group. Strength is demonstrated in the face of adversity by the greatest leaders without an inkling towards taking control or having a domineering effect. To demonstrate the strength, great leaders are confident in their decisions but still maintain a realistic approach towards daily challenges. A strong and a realistic leader knows when to go after an opportunity and when to let it go for the benefit of the team.
