The novel Invisible Man was published in 1952 and was very successful. This novel was written by the author Ralph Ellison, who had other successes, but this novel remains one of the most important. This novel is about a black protagonist who is left anonymous. This is presented in a United States that is totally racially divided due to racism. The story is based on the controversies and social problems that occur with the invisible man. The story takes place in Harlem, New York, where the invisible man deals with identity, racism and social issues. These different clues have different meanings and give a very important symbolism to the novel's plot. Clues such as the briefcase that has the meaning of the identity of the protagonist, the invisible man, and symbolizes the search for self-knowledge in a society that ignores him. On the other hand, what the dolls represent to us in the story is the manipulation and control they have over individuals, basically it is that they handle them like puppets to use them to their advantage. There is also the painting that contains many layers, representing the superficiality and falsehood of people in a world in which there is racial hypocrisy, and everyone has a falsehood with their appearances and with who they really are, they have a double face. The other clue in the novel would be the chain, this would symbolize bone oppression that basically locks the invisible man in many limitations and creates expectations that he "must" be fulfilled by society. So, it can be said that the invisible man went through many difficulties, that perhaps we went unnoticed and that we were always there. Finally, we can say that these elements resulted in the protagonist's struggle and everything he had to go through and that perhaps we did not see in the
