As I spend more and more time as a professional, I perceive that there are few characteristics that are essential for professional success: namely ambitious, creative and adaptable. These characteristics come out in many different ways. Have you set your goals? Have you decided the path you have to take to pursue your goal? What are the sacrifices you can do to achieve your ambition? How much can you think out of the box to resolve a particular issue or bring new idea to the table? How flexible are you to adapt according to particular situation? Personal characteristics play an important role in how you liaise with a client, how you demand something from your employer or how you achieve an agreement that aligns the business with your aim.
Everyone is ambitious and this ambitious nature could catalyze a person to achieve something perceptible. Achieving something is a three step process. It starts with the setting of goal, pursuing the goal and reaching the goal while maintaining the highest standard of morality and integrity. I believe that an ambition accelerates an individual to reach his potential. This ambitious characteristic has given me more visibility to senior managers and the organization and this visibility has interpreted into increased opportunities to be trained or mentored, as well as being recognized by others in the organization. This characteristic has motivated me to perform better in any environment. Because of my ambitious characteristic the organization has...

I've got some useful skills, and I am also inspired by the new role that I know I would quickly gain the necessary knowledge and additional skills. I am doing a good job but I fear that I may not get the opportunity because meritocracy has its confinements. And I have reached a situation in which I have the time and desire to quit my current job to pursue that advanced degree, I need. I believe that gaining formal qualifications is the best way of advancing my career and it's realistic or practical at this moment. This qualification is also important as it will upgrade my skill-sets, make me more relevant and attractive to the role and job market, equip me with the germane skills and will increase my chances of succeeding in my goals, manifold.

Psychology covers a huge field and one interesting aspect of it is personality. Personality by itself involves various issues. Some aspects are Psychoanalytic, Ego, Biological, Behaviorist, Cognitive, Trait, and Humanistic. Different types of behaviors are amazing to learn about, mainly the behavior therapy, collective behavior, crime and punishment, and Social behavior and peer acceptance in children. I chose Behaviorism over the other aspects because I believe behavior determines human personality and is very interesting. You can tell what one is by his behavior, and one behaves according to what place he has in society. By doing this paper on Behavior, I hope to get a better understanding of, if behavior develops a personality or if personality guides behavior. I also see behaviorism helping me in the future with my personal and professional career by understanding human personality and behavior better than I do. No matter what your major is, if you can determine one's personality by his behavior you can really get your work done from that person and understand the better than you would otherwise. This person could be your employee or your employer. Behavior Therapy Behavior therapy is the application of experimentally derived principles of learning to the treatment of psychological disorders. The concept derives primarily from work of Russian psychologist Ivan Pavlov. Behavior-therapy techniques differ from psychiatric methods, particularly psychoanalysis, in that they are predominately symptom (behavior) oriented and shows little or no concern for unconscious processes, achieving new insight, or effecting fundamental personality change. The U.S. psychologist B.F. Skinner, who worked with mental patients in a Massachusetts State hospital, popularized behavior therapy. From his work in animal learning, Skinner found that the establishment and extinction of responses can be determined by the way reinforces, or rewards, are given. The pattern of reward giving, both in time and frequency, is known as a schedule of reinforcement. The gradual change in behavior in approximation of the desired result is known as shaping. More recent developments in behavior therapy emphasize the adaptive nature of cognitive processes. Behavior-therapy techniques have been applied with some success to such disturbances as enuresis (bed-wetting), tics, phobias, stutteri...

Personality is a set of behaviors, attitudes, feelings, and ways of thinking. Personality characterizes us and makes us unique and unlike anyone else. I would describe myself as an extrovert, meaning that I am energized by other people and things. I enjoy being around others as it motivates me and helps me improve more as a human being. I also gather my information primarily by trusting and relying on concrete information. Moreover, I make my decisions based on principles or facts. My approach to most of the things in life is extremely flexible because I do not like having a strict schedule that I am forced to follow. Additionally, I tend to adapt instead of stay structured and organized.
Learning personality types could be one of the best tools for self-improvement and relationship enhancement. By identifying the personality type, we may be able to extend our strength sides and enhance our weakness sides. Further more, assuming the personality type of your component in a relationship, could help a lot to tighten the relationship by eliminating the disagreement situations and concentrating more on the common shared behaviors. These seem to be the main objectives that have led several psychological specialist researchers to conduct many observation analytic experiments and studies during most of the 19th century and up to the present times. Other medical specialist researchers tried to use some personality types classifications as health indicators. Applying and assuming the personality type concepts on some close by relatives and friends should not be difficult, but would it be much helpful or acceptable.
Traits are specific factors a person possesses that makes up their personality. According to trait theories, personality consists of broad, enduring dispositions that tend to lead to character responses. (King, 2016) This essentially means that we can define individuals by how they act, whether their friendly, outgoing, shy, or introverted. People who show those specific traits frequently are known to be “high” in those specific traits. For example, if someone is low in openness then they would be more practical or traditional in how they behaved or dealt with situations. Gordon Allport was one of the first psychologists to heavily focus on the study of personality. He believed that personality psychology should be concerned
Everybody tries to be successful, yet not every person achieves this objective. There are those of us who comprehend that success comes from our individual conduct and there are those that decline to comprehend this idea. Conduct radically influences one's individual success and there are a few elements to call attention to when discussing this. Successful people realize that the establishment of individual and expert achievement lies in understanding yourself, understanding others, and understanding the effect of individual conduct on others.
