The Path to Success I've never been naturally smart and have always had to try twice as hard to be half as good of a student. But at the same time, I’ve always been tougher on myself than anyone else. Some classes were a struggle for me and there were moments that I wish I could’ve just walked right out the doors of the school. Through my experiences, I learned that hard work is not something that one can practice but instead it’s something that’s already inside of people. Some may not know the potential that they have inside of them, and how it can affect their life in a way that they never knew possible. You also have to think about barriers that get in peoples way. For instance, if you are paralyzed from the waist below hard work isn’t going to make your legs work again, which is the sad truth. Just because someone works at something often and for long periods of time, doesn’t mean that their work is going to pay off.
