Papa Bear, Papa Bear! Can you tell me a story? Please… Sure Scout, my grand cub, do you have anything in mind(32 and 33)? Ya, the one about the green thing! Young Scout are you sure, this story can be a bit confusing for a young cub like you(3). Don’t worry Pops I’ll stay on top of it today! Okay then… It was an average Tuesday morning, warm, morning dew on the green grass, and when I inhaled through my wet nose I could smell the pine wood and red berries. Grandma Patty went out that morning for some salmon and I decided to go eat some red berries. It was about nine o'clock in the morning, I was moseying up my usual path, pass the two oak trees, across the stream, and pounce over the poison ivy(8). I just decided to go to my left, which was unusual because I usually do everything with my right. But my instincts told me left so I listened. I started to crawl back because I didn’t want the green thing to see me. At one point I felt like giving up but I couldn’t Grandma Patty was at home waiting for me. But before I could start back up again I needed a break. I layed down and relaxed knowing I would hopefully get home soon. Right(24)? When I had finally started back up it was about dark. I started walking around not knowing what to do. Then I felt an itch on my back. I think I layed down in poison ivy. Oh well , I atleast need to wash off in a stream or lake if I'm going to stay out here for the rest of the night, I said to myself. I walked a couple yards and then came up upon a stream. I dove in and embraced the cool and refreshing water. I jumped out a couple minutes later but soon after I needed scratch my back on something. I walked and then crawled before meeting two oak trees. I had scratched my back on those trees for at least two minutes. I walked a couple more yards and looked up. There I saw them! Lights! Lights mean a house I said. I raced forward, I kept running even though my lungs were burning, but I didn’t care! When I had finally reached the front porch, I knew I knew this place. It was home!
