“UGH, Mom I want to go home already!” Charlie said. “No Charlie, we are staying and we are going to win!” Charlie's mom said. “Mom, we have been here all day long!” Charlie is a cub scout. Not because he wanted to be one, but because he has to be one. Charlies Mom always says “Every boy in our family has been a boy scout doesn’t matter if he wanted to or not, it’s a tradition.” Charlie has been hearing this his whole entire life, even when Charlie was in diapers his mom would dress him up like a cub scout. Charlies mom loves traditions and from any one else’s point of view it would be annoying. She loves to live by the rules and if there's anything other than that is that she loves winning. Once she has a challenge she has to win and …show more content…
I deserve this!” Charlie said. “You didn’t pay for it on your own, you stole” “DID NOT!” I yelled back at her. “Get in the car! NOW!” Charlie grabs his jacket and runs behind the store. Charlie gets really scared when his Mom gets mad but he easily continued to laugh. As he walks behind the door, he could hear her screaming his name to come back and he ignores her. He hears her footsteps behind him and begins to run faster. He knows his mom can never catch up to him, she is much slower. And God forbid she left her dearest popcorn for more than five minutes someone could easily steal all our money and their popcorn. She slowly stopped chasing after him. “Leave me alone and go back to selling the popcorn Mom, I’m walking to Liam’s” “If you leave this property I swear to God, you will be grounded!” “Fine by me, anything to get away from you and that popcorn!” Charlie screamed back to her. He continues to walk away and left his mom at the stand outside of the Wawa. He knew she would have been upset, but she should have stopped forcing him to sell popcorn every day for her own enjoyment. It wasn’t fair, she never even gave him a day off, every day was school then right to selling popcorn for the whole month of October. All this hard work just to win a T-shirt, a few boxes of extra popcorn and another IPod that he didn’t need. He doesn’t think it was worth it and dealt with being grounded and ate his chocolate bar in peace, which he knew she hated him
" I am going save him, it is happier than anything." Candy said to himself.
Growing up, Charlie faced two difficult loses that changed his life by getting him admitted in the hospital. As a young boy, he lost his aunt in a car accident, and in middle school, he lost his best friend who shot himself. That Fall, Charlie walks through the doors his first day of highschool, and he sees how all the people he used to talk to and hang out with treat him like he’s not there. While in English class, Mr. Anderson, Charlie’s English teacher, notices that Charlie knew the correct answer, but he did not want to speak up and let his voice be heard. As his first day went on, Charlie met two people that would change named Sam and Patrick who took Charlie in and helped him find himself. When his friends were leaving for college, they took one last ride together in the tunnel and played their favorite song. The movie ends with Charlie reading aloud his final letter to his friend, “This one moment when you know you’re not a sad story, you are alive. And you stand up and see the lights on buildings and everything that makes you wonder, when you were listening to that song” (Chbosky). Ever since the first day, Charlie realized that his old friends and classmates conformed into the average high schooler and paid no attention to him. Sam and Patrick along with Mr. Anderson, changed his views on life and helped him come out of his shell. Charlie found a
when I was ten years old I lost my grandpa, it was a very bad experience for me but it made me stronger. I remember when he taught me how to catch a baseball, ride a bike, mow the lawn and a lot of other things that I will forever cherish in my heart. the memory I will never forget though is when he taught me everything I needed to know about baseball. we would always go outside together and he would do certain agilities with me to build my stamina, teach me how to catch a pop-fly and he would work on pitching with me which is actually one of my main position that I play today. baseball was a big part of my grandpas life and he always wanted me to play In the major leagues. once he passed away my motives for playing in the major leagues increased.
I also don't own the idea, it was requested to me by the wonderful Amanda. Thank you so much! I hope I did this idea justice.
At the same time: Snap-Whoosh-Growl-Snap-Whoosh-Growl! Return with a fierceness, causing the rest of the men to separate into two groups with some moving to the left in search of the origin of the beastly sounds and the others moving to the right, combining their numbers with those searching for their missing brethren, while Gottlieb stays behind.
...n again in the future. When you stand up for what you believe is right, that sometimes it will be not an easy thing to do because all actions have consequences. Hopefully, Sammy learns from his actions and choices from this instance to make a better decision in the next situation. In my opinion ,he overreacted to the entire situation. He should have just let Lengel deal with the girls and not have gotten involved. He also should have taken in consideration that Lengel was simply following the rules that were set up for this store. I feel that almost everything in the whole situation was blown out of proportion and simple casual conversation with positive intent would have produced a better outcome for all involved. The story makes you think about instances in your own life and how you could have handled them better and what you can take away from the experience.
School was coming to an end and I thought about how Scout’s teacher didn't want her to read. I couldn't stop reading I enjoyed it too much and so did scout, I wondered if I would have reacted the same way scout did. One day after coming home from school, I saw scout with a Big stash of gum. After she told me how she got it, I started thinking the worst since I am her older Brother. I knew to scout was stubborn and wasn't going to get rid of it so I threaten her by telling her that I would tell Cal which is a fight scout wasn't up to fight. Why would there be gum in a tree and why was it out of all places in the Radley tree? We waited until what was forever for school to be over and for Dill to come. After all Dill had become a close friend
I knew it would happen. As much as I tried to stay optimistic, to put off my feelings of suspicion to an old man's negativity, I knew that this case would cost me something more than just my reputation in the town and that didn't even really matter. In Maycomb, reputation is a day by day concept. Sure, we have more than enough of our fair share of immovable gossipers, and drama kings and queens looking for a story to spread. But in everyone's own mind, if you did something stupid, immoral, or just mildly humorous or entertaining, it was the talk of the town and you were judged terribly for a few days, a few weeks tops. Then the whispers, and glances faded to conversations over coffee, and deep inside jokes. My reputation didn't bother me one bit.

I knew it was wrong. God, it was so wrong. How was I supposed to explain to my boyfriend, Nate, that I was in love with another man? Better yet, how was I supposed to explain to him that the man I was in love with was his… father? The Hanson men have always been good to me, both Nate and Mr Hanson.
