When in a dubious predicament, who do you first venture to for a word of advice? I believe receiving guidance from someone is more beneficial than trying to create a solution independently. Others may interpret a situation differently so their panacea is likely to differ from your own. They also have experienced unfamiliar things to you so they have different insight. Lastly, collecting help from others creates a stronger bond between the person receiving and the person sharing the advice. In other words, advice is better received than formulated autonomously. Other people may interpret situations differently than you. Therefore, they can help you look at the situation with new eyes. Also, sometimes others find a
solution to the problem that you hadn’t thought of. Most of the time you find that you’re focusing on the problem, not the solution. Personal experiences have a lot of influence in others advice as well. Additional others have better advice for some situations because they have personal experience. For instance they may have experienced the same thing before in their life. They might even be able to help you through it all. Others have more wisdom with some topics because they have been around longer than us. Receiving advice from them may allow you to see different possible outcomes. Receiving wisdom and advice from others strengthens bonding in relationships. When your friends give you advice that helps you out in tough situations, you construct trust with them and go back to them for advice. If you went to a friend for advice, they would be honored that you came to them. Your friendship will be stronger with that individual and they might even come to you for advice, knowing that you trust them. When you receive and share advice with others, it benefits your friendship and improves your trust with them. I believe receiving advice from others is better than solving something solo. People interpret situations differently. Others may have been in the same situation and can explain their personal experiences. In certain positions, you may bond with other people. When searching for advice, it is always a good idea to venture to your friends and family.

Occasionally taking experience and knowledge of other people to help you understand and build from them your own identity and choices in life.
People are able to survive and thrive better with the help of others. That is why we form communities and build relationships.
Many people in the world get into an almost unbreakable routine, shielding themselves from the real world. We wake up, brush our teeth, go to school with the same people, go home, and do it all over again. Once there is a roadblock in the way, it forces us to step outside our shell and look at others views for a change. American mythologist, writer, and lecturer,Joseph Campbell once said,”We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us.” It is the act of noticing others words and actions that will reshape our lives for the better. In “Secret Samantha” and “Sol Painting, Inc.” the authors suggest that observing someone else’s perspective and taking the time to understand others can be mankind's greatest
...though the researchers weren’t looking for it, he results represent ideas that can help the bystander effect in a situation. Smaller numbers increase the percentage of realization when it comes down to an emergency. The victim, if cohesive, actually plays a big role in causing the bystander effect as well. When a victim is unable to verbally communicate with bystanders, it lessens the chance of help. If a victim is capable of communicating, the help given could be more efficient. This is because it can help break the diffusion of responsibility. A victim looking a bystander directly in the eyes can even spark a quicker reaction in them. These are all ideas that psychologists still study today, and many even consider learning about this phenomenon a requirement.

Some characteristics in this study are worthy of featuring its strength. One of the strengths is providing a new insight in bystander effect. The study argued that researchers have previously neglected the potential benefit of bystanders and thus, the study provided a new horizon by proving reversed bystander effect through experiment. As a student, there are so many ideas and concepts that surround us and can be overwhelming. The secret to investigating the ideas of others is to be inquisitive, yet believing. It is extremely difficult to balance these two contradicting ideas, but when one masters this skill they will be able to elaborate upon the ideas of others. Learning from other people is a great way to develop your own ideas as well.
