In life, people will always have something to say about you in everything one does in life, either negative or positive, but it’s the moment when you let what is said upon you affect the way you live your life, that when its becomes a problem. I for myself have been victim of so many people saying things about me and letting get into my head, but I had the courage to overcome a lot of obstacles like that. I have struggled with a lot of obstacles in my life some got the better of me while I have been able to overcome most of them. Throughout the entirety of my life I always have and always will face obstacles: I am a girl, I am African-American, I have a disabled brother, I have a single parent. Though these aspects of my life have created challenges, I am proud of who I am and I love my life. These challenges have molded my character and shaped me to be the person I am today and without these obstacles, I might not have been as driven to succeed, despite what has happened in my life that may have caused me to
In life you have everyday obstacles that you are faced with, some obstacles are big and some are small, but in spite of the obstacles you strive to overcome them. Learning to read and write was a huge obstacle for me because when I was younger I didn’t care about anything but video games and toys. Later, as I grew up I saw the importance of those essentials and eventually learned how to read and write. Even though I could read and write I had to face a lot of adversity just because I stutter. It 's times where I had to read out loud and was so nervous that I would stuttered, or times where I would be talking and get tongue tied and people would laugh, but as I got older I stop caring what people think of me and overcame it.
Starting high school is tough for some people. Moving to a new city is also tough for some people. Or me I had to deal with both. I can remember my very first day of high school, I was so nervous. I didn’t make any friends over the summer so I didn’t talk to anyone. I was pushed out of my comfort zone to talk to people and make new friends. A few months into school I received my first interim. It wasn't the greatest but , I blamed it on my transition to high school and promised that

Essay 2 Most obstacles that people face are more vindictive than what they actually seem. My obstacles that I have overcome are very interesting and how I got where I am today. My life has drastically changed over the years and I’m happy that it has happened to me. Bullying is an issue that has been going on since the beginning of time. We need to take a stance against this matter. It has happened in the past and is still continuing to happen. Let us stop all of this negativity and do something about this, so that we do not bring this into our future.
Bullying is something that is not something new and is actually something that society continues to face. Over the years, bullying has been looked at as being so ordinary in schools that it is continuously overlooked as an emanate threat to students and has been lowered to a belief that bullying is a part of the developmental stage that most young children will experience then overcome (Allebeck, 2005, p. 129). Not everyone gets over the extreme hurt that can come as an effect from bullying, for both the bully and the victim. Because of this, we now see bullying affecting places such as the workplace, social events and even the home. The issue of bullying is not only experienced in schools, but the school environment is one of the best places
