Therefore, I believe that I am a viable candidate to join this organization, not only have I had commendable grades in school, but I have been very involved in my community as well. The functions of organizations like the NHS are to keep promoting leadership and community involvement to students through service events, which can be things like park clean-ups and charity fundraisers . Organizations like this not only promote leadership, but provide you with life skills, make you well rounded, and open doors for
you. This will benefit the student in the future by helping them continue excelling not only in school but in their careers as well. If I was selected to be in the NHS I would make sure to continue the growth and success of this organization by not only continuing to be a top student, but also by doing better and continuing to live up to our predecessors . I would also promote this group to our successors and encourage not only them, but everyone to be a leader and get involved with events that benefit the community and country. In order to continue the growth and success of the NHS, I think that it would be nice to see the NHS pursuing activities such as planting trees and gardens around the city, and volunteering at places such as animal shelters or hospitals. In conclusion, I believe that the NHS is an amazing organization that I would be lucky to be a part of. It not only benefits the people in it, but also the communities and our country by letting us get more involved.

“Leadership, dreams, scholarships, service, pride and character”, the first words that come to mind when I hear “National Honor Society”. Being chosen for National Honor Society is a great honor, as it has proved that from my childhood till now my hard work has paid off. From the beginning of high school, as a freshman to now a junior, I have always pushed myself to do better, but not better than others, better than myself. I had competition with myself and my past grades, as I emboldened myself to do better than each of my past marking period grades. I heartened myself to get stronger grades, because since the day I found out in freshman year that there was National Honor Society I was determined to get in. The day of my sister’s graduation
I wish to be a member of the National Honor Society for the benefits for myself, the community, and my school. I have thoroughly demonstrated the defining attributes of an ideal member and will continue to show these qualities if selected to be a
To be in the National Junior Honor Society, one must have good citizenship and character. I seek to be a part of this society because it is a great honor and shows not only to others, but also to myself, how hard I have worked throughout my years at Northvale Public School. I take part in school activities and have helped my teachers, so
Being a member of the National Honor Society would allow me to continue my commitment to community service. I have developed my character and leadership skills in my previous community service projects. Some of my community service projects have included my silver award (Girl Scouts) that fixed the hoophouse by the elementary school, taught a local troop about recycling for the journey to my gold award, my bronze award which I babysat kids during Christmas, the community egg hunt, yearly flower planting at Cousin’s Park, the humane society, basketball and football concessions, working lugnuts, and parking for MSU football games.
The National Honor Society is a goal every student dreams of, often from their very first day of high school. I have been hoping for and working towards the opportunity to even write this application since the beginning of last year, and now that it comes time to finally put pen to paper (or finger to key in this case) I find it hard to express what an honor it is to be able to apply to this prestigious society. The National Honor Society sets a standard of achievement every student should strive to attain. This standard demands an aptitude for scholarship, highly capable leadership abilities, strong personal character, and devotion to serving and helping others.
As a student in her sophomore year, I am still learning about what I can do and what I want to do. Although I am young, my mother always told me that it is never too early to start thinking about the future, which is why it is an honor to be able to apply for the membership of being part of National Honor Society. I have always loved challenges no matter what the result because nothing is equal to the experience of trying. I take the things I have learned from my past experiences and use them as a guide to help me in the future. I haven't ever once stopped to give up if I encountered an obstacle, but rather embraced it and thought of ways to overcome them.
National Honor Society is a highly selective program designed to give the top students in the school an opportunity to serve and lead people in the school, and community. So far I have particpated in activities such as writing apprecitation notes to teachers, and crearing and handing out appreciation package to safe passage workers in the community.
I know that I would be a phenomenal addition to Bethel Park’s National Honor Society. My contributions would benefit the integrity and life of this society. I would join this organization not only to better it, but to better myself. I believe that I could take valuable life lessons that I could use for the future from being involved in this society. One of my intentions is to better my community and help those around me, such as my fellow peers. As for the four pillars of the National Honor Society, here is how I apply to them:
I am qualified to be accepted into the National Honor Society based on character because I am motivated, organized, and optimistic. I am excited to begin a new chapter in my life entering into college with an intended major in mind; becoming a physician’s assistant is what I plan to do with the rest of my life. I began to sort out where I would like to attend college and volunteer to better my chances of admission as well as practicing for the SAT and
I believe I would be a valuable asset to National Honors Society because not only am I a dedicated student but a caring, disciplined classmate who will provide perspective to club discussions while contributing an open mind. I feel that I would gain a lot being in an environment with people who are just as committed to bettering themselves and the public. I would use these gained skills outside of the National Honor Society to help my community progress.
To be considered for an organization of such high regard is quite the honor, and I can only hope that my efforts meet the high standards of the National Honor Society. This would be an honor because it is well known that the NHS does so much for our community, and I hope that I can leave a positive lasting impact on my community. NHS inductees must have high scholastic merit while also having a laudable character, both of which I possess. Throughout my high school career I have strived to better myself with every day, and being accepted into the National Honor Society would make every second worth it.
Being a member of the National Honor Society is a unique privilege that I would be honored to have. Being a member would afford me more opportunities to work towards my goals of helping others, being a leader, and maintaining my good academic standing. Similarly, I believe that the skills I possess would be useful to the NHS for achieving its mission as
I am seeking membership into the National Honors Society because being apart of the National Honors Society is an honor and it will help me keep track and stay accountable for my GPA Senior year. It will also help me establish some leadership skills; as seen earlier in my application, I do not have an extensive background in showing leadership, I feel that NHS will help me change that.
