My First Job
I was hired by small contract company called Gateway Airport Service as a Customer Service at one of the busiest airport in the states. My first day on the way to work I was getting very intense. I started to get nervous about what I would be doing and whom I would be working with. I haven’t had any previous job experiences whatsoever. The closer I get to the work the more fearful I was. Once I pulled into the employee parking lot I was kind of shaking, I remain seated and took a deep breath. I thought about it but there is no way I can go back home. I just needed a little extra push so I was encouraging myself, “Come on you can do it, come on you can do it,” I cheered myself on. I walked in the office and the managers and supervisors were very welcoming and so excited to see me.

A blind person came off; I asked him if he needed a wheelchair. He said he is totally fine and that he just needs someone to guide him to his next flight. I gave him one of my hands and he hold on to me following me from behind. I helped him reach his connecting flight and he then continue his next part of his journey. I literally felt so grateful for what I have. That’s when I realized I was actually doing something in my life. It was my passion helping those kinds of people by putting smile on their faces.
Lastly, as a customer service in one of the busiest places I have learned so many things, it turned out to be a great outcome and lovely atmosphere. Customer service entails much patience, and listening skills with each different person that approaches me every day. Staying up to date with each customer involves multitasking and building a wonderful relationship while understanding their needs. Recently, I have noticed my job has become a way for me to enhance my techniques to starting my profession confidently and
