In my future class, I will improve my writing program when I go back to my country. I will use the techniques that I have learned from educational journey in the U.S. Techniques such as how to plan an article, brainstorming, revising drafts and taking enough time to write a quality essay or article. Moreover, I believe that it is also important to teach the students various collaborative strategies and skills which they should implement in order to carry out the effective learning process. Among these techniques is to teach the student to respect the peer argumentation and discourse in the brainstorming phase. This means that the difference in opinions needs to be respected and thus this would help the students to have better classroom interactive activities to enhance their critical and argumentative skills in writing. This will provide collaboration among the students.
There is also a need of formal cooperative learning methods in the classrooms. In my future classroom, I will make sure that students work in groups and perform better in team tasks. For example, participate in mini-lessons, share their written work and provide feedback to each other in the writer’s workshop. This helps in providing better ideas on enhancing the knowledge and proves to be better in effective writing and group works. I will also work in a team which helps

In my future class, we will have web blogs including external students and our students. There we will discuss and write about various subjects and domains. This includes the benefits of working in a much larger working domain and there are more ideas to be shared and expressed with larger number of people. What is writing style? I started out thinking that writing style is a personal thing and that all writers have their own style. But, this way of thinking is really just a simple way to answer the question. After more careful thought, I realized that style is actually quite the opposite of personal and original. Style is a form of standardization. As writers, we all follow certain rules and guidelines to make our point. Style is these rules and guidelines.
This is why it is important to find a balance between individual and collective learning activities in an educational environment. In order to promote learning, members need to share in its accountability to create a successful, challenging community. In addition, the community should not use lectures to teach, but instead use Socratic formats that allow a dialogue to develop between the student and teacher. The exchange between students should be significant. Learning is facilitated when connections are created throughout the entire learning community to accomplish important work.
It requires an array of skills that as a teacher I will need to help my own pupils develop. Collaborative working can help form positive relationships and as these relationships grow so do rates of productivity and achievement. Groups members should be interdependent and learn from each other as everyone has something different to offer. What I have learned will impact my teaching practice in a number of ways as I now recognise that collaborative working and group work are not the same thing and that as a teacher I need to facilitate ways in which collaborative working can be carried out effectively and to the benefit of all.

Also, when a student encounters part of the assignment that he struggles with, his peers shall take on the role of teacher and assist him with overcoming this hurdle. In doing so, the student who may once have failed will now achieve due to the help of his group members. There are at least three general theoretical points of view that have guided research on cooperative learning: cognitive developmental, behavioral, and social interdependence. The cognitive-developmental perspective is in large scale based on the theories of Piaget and Vygotsky. The work of Piaget and related theorists is based on the criteria that when individuals cooperate on the environment, sociocognitive conflict happens that makes cognitive disequilibrium, which in turn stimulates perspective-taking ability and cognitive development. The work of Vygotsky and related theorists is based on the premise that knowledge is social, constructed from cooperative efforts to learn, comprehend, and solve difficulties. The behavioral learning theory perspective focuses on the impact of group supports and rewards on learning.
Collaborative learning is an educational approach that involves groups of learners working together to reach a consensus through negotiation to solve a problem, complete a task, or create a product (Bruffee, 1993). Learning occurs through active engagement among peers, wherein the main characteristics of collaborative learning are: a common task or activity; small group learning, co-operative behaviour; interdependence; and individual responsibility and accountability (Lejeune, 2003).

When, I was in tutor, I become gradually upset that students seemed to be having difficulty with the transition into writing at the college-level. One memory stands out the most when collaboration is mention is when I was subbing for a ECE Teacher in a regular learning classroom, while the teacher was giving the rest of the students their assignments I was working one on one with a ECE student that needed the extra help in order to fulfill their task. The teacher and I collaborated on the questions that the student had left to complete before moving on to their homework. Through the use of collaboration the student was able to complete their task and be on the same task as the rest of the class.
