My Writing Process

Writing is a subject that can be interpreted in many different ways in everyday life. Writing has been in people’s early stage of life. I have grown up using writing as a foundation to do everything. Knowing how to write allowed me to complete the necessary work and assignments to move on to the next stage in school, work, and life. The norm in this country is to be successful. To be successful I have be knowledgeable. To become knowledgeable I have to know how to read and write. Everything revolves around being capable of understanding. To be able to communicate efficiently we have to know how to write and read. Writing is our universal language.

In school I was told to follow a certain pattern of writing. Honestly it was completely effective because if I didn’t follow certain guidelines it would result in me getting bad grades. It was a very difficult time that I had to reshape my thinking process. The older I got the harder the guidelines were to follow. I couldn’t understand what I was writing about or what I was reading about until I interpreted in my own way. I started to think outside the box. I asked myself how can I do what the teacher wants and still get my own thoughts and points across. The answer was just do it. It can be interpreted in several ways from different people. Some people enjoy following guidelines and having restrictions. Some people enjoy expressing themselves freely. Everyone’s relationship with writing is different. My opinion about writing could be shared but there are plenty out there. I’ve seen for myself. I conducted research to see what would be another person take on literacy. What does it mean to them? How did these feelings come about? Will these feelings change? The results of this experiment was very interesting. The interviewee related her feelings and thoughts to the way she interpreted the environment. If she was happy she would read and write about enjoyable things. If she was mad she would write and read about negative things. She matched her emotions with her ability to read and write. That is what I desire for other people to see. I want them to be able to open themselves up to new ideas and concepts. I want to offer a person motivation to strive and create new tactics even if they strongly disagree with a statement or says they can not relate to the idea at all. Writing can be compared to a genre of music. All types of writing has different audience but every writing has a audience. Different types of writing and reading influences people on their thoughts, ideas, and feelings just like music does. Literacy is apart of societies culture and will continue to be an influential factor in the advancement of everything.Writing has
