These inspiring and amazing words were once spoken by “I Love My Aunt”, a community group who pays a tribute to all the aunts’ in the world. Understanding these words reminds me that an aunt is a second mother and like a sister. Well, many of you may ask what an aunt is. Well, an aunt to me is when someone treats me like I’m their child mom and provides me with care and love. Many humans in this world may not believe they have a perfect enchanting aunt, but others do. Well, I feel like I am one of the precious children blessed by God who has a perfect aunt Tina M. Amin. This ladies and gentlemen is a person who has a special place reserved in my heart and is always on my side supporting me wherever I am.
My aunt is not just my aunt, but she is my role model. She faced many tough obstacles in her life, but she overcame those obstacles. Well, her childhood memories make her different from all the adults and aunts’ living on this round planet, Planet Earth. When she was born on January 4, 1988 she was struck by a life threatening disease called Hemolytic Disease of the Newborn. This disease occurs when there is an incompatibility between the blood types of the mother and baby. Once this disease was in your body, it leads to anemia. Anemia is dangerous because it limits the ability of the blood to carry oxygen to the baby's organs and tissues. Due to this she used to face many problems. She would at an abnormal time become pale and have trouble breathing. Well, to get rid of these problems she needed to get blood transfusions, intravenous fluids, help for respiratory distress using oxygen or a mechanical breathing machine, and exchange transfusion to replace the baby's damaged blood with fresh blood. As a nephew, I from the bottom of my heart admire my aunt because through the years, she has had much history and I would love to follow her footsteps. With all the problems she had faced, she has never given up and has always held her head high. If I need anything I can count on my aunt. If I need a hug I can go to her because she is like a second mother to me. If I need help I can go to her. If I need to share something with her I can go to her. My aunt will always help me in the future even with the ups and downs in my life. Even though Tina M. Amin is diverse from me I can always count on her and I know she will be in my heart and on my side.
She was my cousin from my mother’s side. My mother loved to spend time with the family so needless to say, I got to spend a lot of time with her. However, much to my mom’s dismay, her family moved away seventeen years ago. Yet I still have many memories with her, some
family of difficult task journey. On that event, her health is getting weaker every day on
She manipulates her son and lies to her grandchildren, and nags constantly about the lack of the present. 2. She has no self-awareness and seems unmindful of the things around her. 2. The grandmother thinks that she is the best person to judge others as well as the best person to instruct other people on how to live their lives.
She only cares for herself and uses her manipulative skills to trick the other characters into doing what she wants. However, she views herself to be of higher moral standings than the other characters. If the grandmother has any lesson for the reader, the lesson is that no matter how tricky one is or how high one holds their standards to be, not everyone gets their way all the
Nurses interact with families in a variety of community-based and clinical settings. The family nursing process is the same, regardless of the setting or whether the focus is on the family as a whole or on an individual in that family (Crisp & Taylor 2005). In the case of a 3 year old girl just diagnosed with leukaemia, it is important for a nurse to critically analyse the situation and address any immediate concerns. The nurse must address any professional issues that may arise and any potential impacts of hospitalisation that may affect the child and the family. Also provide support and education to reassure and comfort them. The primary concern for paediatric nurses is the welfare of the child and the family (Crisp & Taylor 2005).
Fares is not physically well. She has a type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. She clarified how these two diseases generally run in our family. Mrs. Fares grandparents, mother, siblings, husband, and even some of her children have these diseases. Some family members tried to eliminate the chance or prevent themselves from developing these illnesses, but had no hope. Mrs. fares considered herself lucky because she was diagnosed at a much older age, while some other family members were as young as 35-year-old when they were diagnosed. Mrs. Fares believes shifting to a healthier diet, and eliminating sadness and stress helped to live longest without the diseases. However, the slight changes did not prevent her from being free from illness. It just runs in our
She was a 24-week-old premature infant. I had never seen anything so fragile yet so resilient in my life. Every time she took a breath her lungs would completely collapse. To inhale, she had to pull everything up from on her back, out from her rib cage, and inflate her lungs. She was a powerhouse! Instinctively doing everything she could to stay alive. She died hours later. She was the youngest and smallest infant ever to be born alive at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. We will never know her full potential, and the loss of the opportunity for someone to become an asset to society is something that I cannot tolerate. Thus, my desire to become a neonatologist was affirmed.
In 1990, my aunt Ann started experiencing heart-problems. My family was very close to Ann because she lived only a block away. Aunt Ann would walk over to our house everyday for a visit. During this particular summer, Ann noticed that she was becoming increasingly out of breath from just the short walk. The entire family strongly urged that she see a doctor as soon as possible.

After further analysis of case study 1, Ms. A is suffering is the most common type of anemia, Iron Deficiency Anemia. Iron deficiency occurs when red blood cells (RBCs) is lower than normal in the body. The protein is answerable for carrying oxygen in the body’s tissues, which is important for body tissues and muscles to function successfully (Oxygen at altitude,2009). Short of sufficient iron the hemoglobin is not producing enough making someone become anemic, several causes can develop iron deficiency anemia, such as breast breastfeeding, menstruation, blood donation, endurance training, digestive conditions, foods, and caffeinated drinks. And in this case study Ms. A has a bigger cause for iron deficiency anemia that is during mensuration
When the doctors told my mom that she only had twenty-four hours to live, she didn’t believe them and fought for her life? In June of 2004, she was diagnosed with a rare disease, which, at the time only 60 people in America had been diagnosed with. The disease is so rare that her doctors did not know how to diagnose it at first. The diagnosis did not even come from the local hospital; they collectively came from Johns Hopkins, Cleveland Clinic, and The Ohio State University Medical Center.
Family : My Grandmother Mildred truly defined the word family as I have come to learn and live it. Holidays and family gatherings were the celebrations they were because they were surrounded by Grandma’s love. I watched family such as my late uncle Reginald become the amazing family man he was because of traditions instilled by his mother. I have also seen her daughter - my aunt Milinda – raise three beautiful children by the love and traditions passed down from Grandma. I, of course, owe most of who I am from Grandma’s love passed down through my own mother Rayetta and her husband George, whom Grandma so highly regarded.
This lady is the most wonderful person I 've ever met. She is old, affectionate, and intelligent. It took me eighteen years to realize how much this extraordinary person influenced my life. She 's the type of person who charms everyone with her stories and experiences. She always time for her family and friends. She is the kind of leader who does everything to keep her family together and in harmony. She is my grandmother.
My great aunt, Jean Cooper, deals with clinical depression. I call her grandma Jean. Grandma Jean is divorced with two daughters and she resides in her colossal home located in Thousand Oaks California. Over the summer I had visited her after nine years. Spending time with my great aunt gave me an insight of her depression which changed my view of life.
My grandmother has always been my biggest supporter throughout my life. My Grandmother is my back bone; she is the reason why I am the person that I am today. Most people hear the word grandmother and expect to see older lady with possible white hair, standing in the kitchen cooking and baking, evening sewing. My grandmother is the exact opposite of those things, she is still employed full time, enjoys making jewelry and furniture. Although she is only five two she is very witted and outspoken she never bites her tongue and will always give her opinion even if you don’t ask for it. There is a softer side to her, she will give you her last and be a listening ear day or night. Like the saying goes “to know me is to love me” and believe me
