It is imperative for a teacher to connect with students and this can be done with an effective learning management plan. It requires the teacher to be able to teach students in an environment that is conducive to learning. This must be something that the teacher is capable of doing without any types of distractions from students. Teachers must be knowledgeable in the area that they are teaching and be able to communicate to the students what is to be learned. Teachers must be able to also develop a relationship with students that will allow them to learn and be productive. Once a teacher is able to bring all of the basic elements together to create a learning environment for her students, with positive interactions and effective classroom management strategies, students and teachers will both be able to grow and learn within the classroom.
PRESENTATION AND CONDUCT
As a teacher, I will work to create an environment that will help support the natural abilities of all my students. I will consistently work to on an environment that will allow my students to be in an environment that will be free of distractions. I will strive to teach my students the qualities that will allow them to be responsible individuals for their actions and choices, not only in the classroom, but also at home, and eventually in the world. I will continuously work with parents that will help them develop other virtues that will foster integrity, diligence, responsibility, cooperation, loyalty, fidelity, and respect for the law and human life. I will consistently work at measuring student’s progress and continue to develop more ways for students to gain the knowledge they need to succeed in life. Each student will have my full attention when it comes to resol...

...agement plan, my students and I will be able to learn and have fun together. Although there will be times that I will need to implement consequences for behavior that is not good, overall I believe that once students begin to realize that there are good consequences in store for them, if their behavior is good, then they will be able to control their behavior and be good students. I will endeavor to treat my students with the respect and understanding that they each deserve, while teaching them the morals they need to know to be the leaders of the future. I do not want a classroom full of students that run like a machine; I want every aspect that they are introduced to, to be a learning experience and fun for them to learn. I will do my best not to deviate from my plan and continue to be a teacher that my students will respect and love for years to come.
Having a well thought-out comprehensive behavior management plan, and well- designed lesson plans, which addresses the various learning styles of the students in the class and gets all the students engaged in the learning activity.
I hope they feel they can come to me when they need help with not just a school problem, but a problem in their personal life or when they just need some to listen. I hope I can model the same teacher characteristics to my students as I felt she showed me. She was caring, warm, and very interested in her students’ total well-being.
Interact with colleagues, parents and others to achieve classroom management objectives – when the parents and teacher communicate and get along together, students are more likely to receive the needed guidance and support. Teachers may also consult their colleagues and others when difficulties occur with classroom management and student behaviors.
... I would encourage each student that they are capable of whatever they desire, whether to grow up to be the first woman president, an astronaut, fireman, or a cashier; along with those dreams they must know that all of their dreams start in the classroom with their education. I will also teach them that whatever they desire in their future, to be the best they can be. I desire to continue my education after graduating from State College with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, pursuing a master’s degree in elementary education, possibly majoring in science or history. With a teaching profession, the sky is the limit of what can be achieved.
One of the most functioning classroom management approaches; is the development of a quality relationship amongst the teacher and the students in the classroom. Teachers who implement a relationship-building approach to classroom management by concentrating on emerging the whole student are more likely to help their students socially appropriate behaviors. Although these strategies, though helpful, they still leave teachers struggling with the most difficult students such as Ms. D's case. When parents send their children off to school each morning, they trust teachers as well as other school officials to care for their children's wellbeing. Teachers must maintain a wide range of responsibilities to students that come from a variety of federal,
The author has designed the personal learning plan around the diagnosis of his learning needs, statement of specific learning objectives, learning resources and strategies, evidence of accomplishment, how the evidence will be validated, and how the learning will be evaluated. I will concentrate on the five disciplines: Systems Thinking, Personal Mastery, Mental Models, Shared Visions, and Team Learning introduced by Peter M. Senge. This will allow me to expand my leadership abilities at my current job as well as jobs that I may hold in the future. What distinguishes leaders is the clarity and persuasiveness of their ideas, the depth of their commitment, and the extent of their openness to continually learning more. They do not "have the answer," but they seem to instill confidence in those around them that, together, "we can learn whatever we need to learn in order to achieve the results we truly desire" (Senge, 2006). Senge is explaining to us the importance of being open and to expand our knowledge. That is why every leader and employee should create a learning plan, so that they can understand as much about themselves. This allows them not only to believe in themselves, but others to believe in them as well.
Education is a very important aspect of our lives. It is our education that makes us who we are and determines what we become. Therefore, education is not something to be taken lightly. As a teacher, my goal will be to provide the best possible education for my students. Every student is unique. I must see students for who they are individually and respect their ideas and opinions. Each student has a different learning style. I must take this into consideration because I want to provide a constructive learning opportunity for every student. I believe that every student has the potential to learn.
Classroom management has the largest effect on student achievement, so students cannot learn in poorly managed classroom. Additionally, research has pointed out that the quality of teacher-student relationships is the main aspect of classroom management.(…2). Furthermore, when teachers set classroom management plan, the plan will give structure to everything from seating to lessons to grading to the relationship between students. Teachers should incorporate strategies for addressing student behavior into classroom
This I Believe Philosophy statement will include my thoughts and beliefs about classroom management with comparison to other theorists’ models. The major theorists that will be mentioned are Barbara Coloroso, Linda Albert, and Lee & Marlene Canter. I highly agree with the Canter’s and Coloroso’s models of classroom management because it best fits my personality as an individual teacher. I believe that an affective classroom management plan is first practiced and then modeled for improvements. My ultimate goal for my Classroom Management Plan is to model self-discipline by teaching it through my daily actions so that students may be able to self-manage themselves accordingly.
Classroom management is a key element to establish a successful learning environment in any classroom. An effective classroom management plan creates a positive learning environment. Classroom management is affected by the characteristics of the students and their behavior. Students’ behavior is influenced by their age, academic abilities, goals, interests, and home backgrounds (Evertson, Emmer, and Worsham, 2006). Teachers need a diverse array of classroom management skills to facilitate learning. A classroom with a proper management plan will spend less time in disciplining and more time in learning. Students in effectively managed classrooms know and follow clearly defined rules and routines. A classroom management plan should provide for several important factors that influence proper discipline in the classroom (Edwards, 2004).
I believe Classroom Management is the main component in the educational setting. I believe if students are in a safe environment, then learning can take place. This doesn’t mean punishing behavior problems but rather a combination of setting the tone in a class, preventing behavior problems with interesting and engaging curriculums and effectively including all students in the classroom so that their needs are met. Having the right environment for all students to learn is my major goal of implementing good classroom management--without it the students would not be able to learn.
Like many people, my personal experiences have shaped who I am. As a future educator, I want my students to respect me as a teacher, but understand that I will be there for every one of them, whenever they need me. I will not judge them; I will only encourage them to do their best. I will show them that learning can be fun and that school is more than just memorizing facts, it’s about opening your mind to new ideas and experiencing things that will change your
With the proper guidance and support, teachers can achieve academic excellence in the classroom. They follow their principal’s vision and share their goals. Teachers also serve as leaders in their classroom. They share their vision and goals with their students promoting positive attitudes in the classroom. Just like it is important for principals to respect and understand what their teachers need, students also need the support, understanding, respect and empathy from their teachers. When teachers demonstrate commitment in the classroom and set high expectations they raise the level of learning in the classroom. Teachers that work with the students and their parents to understand and meet their needs will achieve positive academic outcomes. Students engage in learning with positive attitudes and strive for high achievements. Teachers work together with their leaders to improve their teaching
As a future educator, I have many goals. My first goal would be to never overpower my students. Being a teacher should not be a job, it should be a passion. I will focus my classroom around the student’s needs, rather than my own. The classroom will revolve around the students. I will be their guiding hand through education. Another goal of mine is to have the students interact in a positive way. Social interaction is very important. As students combine with peers they share knowledge and learn how to solve problems. In the real-world, this what will happen. Whenever I can, I li...
I have decided to become a teacher because I love children. I enjoy watching them grow, and I want to make a difference in the lives of my students. As a teacher, I will do everything that I can to ensure that each becomes a productive, successful citizen in life. In order for me to obtain this goal, I will create a loving, positive, respectful, and safe learning environment where each student will be treated equally and be encouraged to do his or her best. Keeping this in mind, there are four elements that I must remember which includes (1) how young children develop, (2) what they should know and be able to do, (3) instructional strategies that I have learned, and (4) my feelings regarding parent involvement.
