My Leading Personal Goals: Computer Forensics

One my leading personal goals this year is doing CompuTIA certification. I have always wanted to be a Computer Engineer unfortunately my high school results were not as good, so when I applied for computer science course they rejected my application. The impact of this rejection lead me into taking my second option in Mechanics. When I started computer science my main objectives was to branch into hardware and networking before the completion of my studies and the end goal is computer forensics.
CompuTIA certificate gives me the tools to unlock the doors into the computer industry. I have identified my brother and a friend who are analysts and pc engineer respectively to help mentor me in achieving this goal in a set timeframe within desirable parameters. Timeframe: I will start in March and intended month of completion is August.
Possible Constraints: Finances, disturbances during study times, mentor availability times, constrained working space, work and family commitments.
Requirements: Already have study materials and video tutorials but still need to buy computer components that I can buy as I study. For these to be achieved it need money.
Why? CompuTIA will give me foundational entry requirements into the computer industry and having this will help me get a job in computer industry hence improving my understanding of computers. Having a job in computer industry particularly hardware and networking will lead me into financial stability and ease pressure on my main study focus on forensics. This will also bring personal satisfaction and stability as a pre Computer science Degree
