In my current job, I have to wear black, non-marking, no-slip shoes, which are inherently ugly, but very comfortable. In my ideal career my shoes will borderline uncomfortable, insanely adorable high heels. I am talking about the type of adorable high heel shoes that me and my co-workers scoff at when a prissy upper or upper middle class business women wears while ordering her skinny vanilla latte. At the job I work at now, 3:00 is the hour that soccer moms desperately rush in to get their caffeine fix before heading to soccer practice, which as you can imagine, is chaos. In my idea career, 3:00 will not be any different from any other time of the work day. My workplace will be a calm, welcoming and safe office environment that will sound …show more content…
Right now the greatest memory that I have is of my wedding day. Looking forward I would assume that my greatest memory would be tied in with the births or accomplishments of my children. I think the true testimony to my life is how I am able to help others when I am not physically present. My biggest legacy will be my family. To me a legacy is not about the money in your will or the crap that you bought that your kids have to deal with, or even making huge leaps in society like Marie Curie or Neil Armstrong, but rather the idea that you can leave a positive mark right now, one that will linger long after you 're gone. My goal in life is to allow others to honestly say at my funeral that they will remember my smile, my warmth, my energy, my love for life, family and friends, but also students, colleagues and clients, many of whom over time also became friends. That I, worked very hard all my life, up until the very end. And most of all, that I made a difference in the lives of many. If I was offered a job for three years it would have to be doing something that made me feel like I was making a difference in others’
Professor Pausch said that “…it’s not the things we do in life that we regret on our deathbed, it’s the things we do not.” On Morrie’s deathbed he says to Mitch, “…because if you’ve found meaning in your life, you don’t want to go back” (Albom 118). Both of these quotes make you think about what the day will bring you and essentially allows you to ask questions like ‘who will I impact and what can I do to make a
One of the most memorable moments in my life has to be when my grandaughter Aliana Marie Garcia was born. I had been waiting for her to come to this world for a whole nine months!. it was already a special day I held closely as my religion celebrates a special occasion on that day, it is called, "El Dia de Los Reyes", which is a special religious holiday in Mexican culture that is centered around small gifts for children. It was definitely a very wonderful surprise with the precious gift any person can obtain, the gift of life.

So with looking further into all of the different criminal justice paths I could go down and with my love for science I thought being a forensic scientist would be the perfect job. After I’m done with college, my successful will continue. Regardless my main goal is to just be happy, and never have to struggle for anything. But, when I think about my future the first thing I always think about is the car I want. Which is so odd because I should be thinking about a place to live, and a family maybe first, then a car. But no, I want my all white Cadillac CTS. Depending on what year I get enough money to purchase this perfect car, I’m going to want to the newest year. Just so I can have all the newest interior and the technology. I want to one day, have a family and a decent sized house in a big city. I haven’t really decided yet if I either want to go into the FBI or just work for the local police station wherever I decide to live.
My task is that of a difficult one to most, but I must be honest don’t take it the wrong way I’m not here to be boast, just to give the eulogy of someone we all knew most
As I am preparing for a new chapter in my life, I have put a lot thought in about what I want out of life and what to look forward to as I get older. In order for one to achieve anything, they need to set goals to reach for. I have a handful of goals for my future, short term and long term, that I will actively work towards in my college years and beyond. In my time at UW Eau Claire, I plan to be involved and engaged in student activities on campus. Being active will help me meet new people, build a better resume, and have fun at college. At UWEC, I would like to get involved in anything musical, along with various clubs and Greek life. Similarly, another goal of mine is to have a job on campus. Having a job will not only help me make some
The legacy that I intend to leave behind is one of an individual who understand the power of kindness, respect, and love. There is no greater power in this world than love - love is what binds our human race together and teaches us the real meaning of our existence. My legacy will be devoted to the idea that everyone in this world has a right to happiness, and it would be my duty to assist in the facilitation of better tomorrow for all of my beloved fellow citizens. It is my goal to known as the person who always had a kind word to say - always had a smile on his face - always overflowing with positivity no matter the situation. There is great beauty in life and I will not squander the immense majesty of our existence by maintaining a sour
... to spend some time with my friends also as my friends will also be of my age at that time and they will understand me the best. One day I have to die, as death is a natural process but after dying my real legacy would be my values to my children and my grandchildren. I want that when I die, my children and society remember me as a good person who was always able to act upon her values. As children also learn from their parents so I want my children to get a treasure of good values from me, so that my values could help them to handle various situations in life. I want them to remember with a feeling of proud for me. I want to end my life in such a way that I complete all my purposes for which I have born on this earth as we all have got only one life, so it is really precious, that’s why I want to end my life meaningfully and worthwhile.
As a child, have you ever been asked what do you want to be when you grow up? When I was little, all I ever wanted to do was open up my own dance company. I chose to study Business Administration because I love the feeling of being an in professional and sophisticated manner. I really feel as though choosing the business field was the best option I ever made for myself because I’m getting the opportunity to show many people out there how professional I can be and also the skills I have as a person.
“Dream as you will live forever, live as you’ll die today” James Dean. I say it’s not the materialistic things you leave behind, it’s the impact you had on someone or the world that leaves a mark to care on your legacy. Do not just live life! Make a statement and have an impact on someone’s life. What will your legacy say about you?
Over the past three and a half years I have taken any kind of job at this level to learn more about how I could help this population.
Health care would be a great career option for almost anyone because one can help a multitude of different people. Most people imagine their dream job is to become a famous actor or a job they have seen done many times. Though because of the progression of technology I would be more suited in a field involving computers. My dream job is to become a successful software engineer because I have always been into computer systems, but can I fit this job, is the career life something I can manage and what opportunities should I go after when becoming a software engineer. Each time I notice how a program is used I wonder how can I make it become faster or more efficient. When you are using your cell phone or iPad there is usually an update at every month. This is because apple is improving the speed of your applications. A software engineer is sometimes overlooked, but without software engineer’s applications would either crash or would not improve. Although most people may feel looking at a computer all day and trying to fix it is uninteresting, I find it challenging
Have you ever pondered your death? At least at some point in our lives everyone has done so. But with the thought of death comes the thought of what you want to accomplish and what you have already accomplished. When I think of dying, I think of the things that I want to do the most, most of the time they have nothing to do with me as a whole. My main goal before I die is to see the happiness that I have brought to others through my actions. I want to make sure that I leave my mark on those whose lives I have touched, in order to do so I have to start somewhere with my goals. Three things that I want to accomplish before I die are having a family, travel the world and create a charity foundation.
