In my current job, I have to wear black, non-marking, no-slip shoes, which are inherently ugly, but very comfortable. In my ideal career my shoes will borderline uncomfortable, insanely adorable high heels. I am talking about the type of adorable high heel shoes that me and my co-workers scoff at when a prissy upper or upper middle class business women wears while ordering her skinny vanilla latte. At the job I work at now, 3:00 is the hour that soccer moms desperately rush in to get their caffeine fix before heading to soccer practice, which as you can imagine, is chaos. Right now the greatest memory that I have is of my wedding day. Looking forward I would assume that my greatest memory would be tied in with the births or accomplishments of my children. I think the true testimony to my life is how I am able to help others when I am not physically present. My biggest legacy will be my family. To me a legacy is not about the money in your will or the crap that you bought that your kids have to deal with, or even making huge leaps in society like Marie Curie or Neil Armstrong, but rather the idea that you can leave a positive mark right now, one that will linger long after you 're gone. My goal in life is to allow others to honestly say at my funeral that they will remember my smile, my warmth, my energy, my love for life, family and friends, but also students, colleagues and clients, many of whom over time also became friends. That I, worked very hard all my life, up until the very end. And most of all, that I made a difference in the lives of many. If I was offered a job for three years it would have to be doing something that made me feel like I was making a difference in others’
