1. “Career Path/Job Title”
So with looking further into all of the different criminal justice paths I could go down and with my love for science I thought being a forensic scientist would be the perfect job. After I’m done with college, my successful will continue. Regardless my main goal is to just be happy, and never have to struggle for anything. But, when I think about my future the first thing I always think about is the car I want. Which is so odd because I should be thinking about a place to live, and a family maybe first, then a car. But no, I want my all white Cadillac CTS. Depending on what year I get enough money to purchase this perfect car, I’m going to want to the newest year. Just so I can have all the newest interior and the technology. I want to one day, have a family and a decent sized house in a big city. I haven’t really decided yet if I either want to go into the FBI or just work for the local police station wherever I decide to live.
2. “What is your interest in this career path/job?” Perhaps it was a family member, or an experience you had with a member of this profession? Whatever it was, write about it here.

I ended up joining the group of more individuals that wanted to be the hero that one day would ‘save the day.’ Not in the sense of being that one superhero that every little kid looks up to, but knowing that I wanted to be part of a team that helped bring justice to each family that has lost someone. Most of my family is working or has worked in the criminal justice field from state troopers and prison guards to probation officers. So it’s almost like I 'm destined to do this kind of thing. I feel like I have to carry on the family’s pattern with going into law

For the longest time I could not decide on a major and a career to study throughout college. When I came to Georgia Southern University I discovered that they had a major that was very interesting to me. Sport Management id the ideal major for my interest and me. Since I love sports I figured that this would be the career for me. A degree in Sport Management helps to prepare for success in sport related occupations.
Something happened my sophomore year of high school that little did I know would change my perspective, not only of myself, but life in general. I was looking for something new and exciting to enhance my high school existence and decided to give the Criminal Justice Club a try. I was familiar with the advisor of the club, but knew that the club had astigmatism for attracting those students who were just looking for something easy to do. I knew about the criminal justice system, but only what they show on Law and Order. However, I immediately fell in love, not only with the club but the entire prospect of Criminal Justice. I stepped into the club as if it were a place I belonged and easily became a leader. I was able to learn things the TV shows
Dr. James Sawyer, the first person I would see every morning in the band room for first hour, my freshman year. I have never met anyone with much wisdom and respect for all people. Doc, fills a room with joy and reverence, he can make someone smile without speaking. He was not only my band director for four years, he is a mentor and a friend, someone I trust and look up to. Everyday, he would enlighten us, give us advice on being better students and people in society. I have kept a moral that Dr. Sawyer constantly reminded us of. He told us that one of our purposes in life was to help others. In any way we could help them, whether it was opening the door for a busy person, or directing them to the correct location. It did not make a difference of how famous we would become before we died or how wealthy we were. So
Growing up, I never quite knew what I wanted to do with my life. Around age 12, I became obsessed with the television show Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, which made me realize that I wanted to a lawyer. I knew it wouldn’t be easy, but it would be worth it. When I tell people I want to be a lawyer, their response is usually, “Yeah, that’ll make good money!” or “That’s a lot of schooling, you’ll never make it.” Although, for me, it wasn’t really about the money or how long schooling would take. I wanted to help people who needed it, and I wanted to do something that mattered and would make a difference in the world. I didn’t know what type of lawyer I wanted to be until I was 14 years old. In December of 2014, one of my childhood friends
A career in psychology is one that offers a wide variety of paths in which you can pursuit it. When one decides that they want to accomplish a degree in psychology, the next step is to decide what specific path you are willing to take. In the beginning we might feel overwhelmed, unsure and scared by having all these choices, and not knowing which one to turn to, or if were even making the right choice. Exploring the different paths in the career can help us narrow down the alternatives that we are exposed to. I have decided to major in psychology and work in a field with kids, and have decided to explore the following jobs in the field of psychology: clinical psychology, developmental psychology,
One thing I've always wanted to do, even as a child was to take care of people. Once I became older and was able to take classes in the High School, I found that I enjoyed nursing class after taking two years of fit. Now I'm working to get a job at one of the Nursing homes in Beatrice and get my CNA (which they said they would help!). Being a Registered Nurse involves many tasks and responsibilities. Some of those responsibilities are assess a patient's health problems/needs, monitor all aspects of patient's care, and modify patients treatment plans as indicated. It is important that these are done properly, and well; because people may need your help that are in crucial conditions that is required for those needs to be met properly.
Potential aims and plans to accomplish need to remain stable.
As one of the oldest siblings in a large family, I have always felt a sense of responsibility for others. whether it is ensuring my sibling have dinner or helping someone clean up after a party, I've always felt a duty to assist other people. I inherited this sense of social responsibility from my parents, both of whom work with the marginalized (my father works with the mentally ill, and my mother the elderly. This sense of duty has driven me to volunteer at a soup kitchen, help the elderly, as well as influencing my career path to be that of a public attorney.
My plan in life is to become a Police Officer. Not only would that give me the opportunity to help other people but becoming a Police Officer also gives me the opportunity to follow in my Uncles footsteps and do something that I have wanted to do my whole life. I have always wanted to make a difference in the world, and this gives me the chance. Performing justice the right way and making sure that the laws of the government are obeyed is the job that I want to pursue. Being a Police Officer is a challenging job but also very rewarding. There would be a number of skills I would need to learn, not to mention that every day on the job would be a learning experience itself. Every single day that I would go to work, I would potentially be saving someone’s life. Stopping a speeder, arresting a criminal, preventing harmful attempts, they are things that would save someone’s life. Even if my actions were not as simple as that, for example, if I were to witness an accident or arrive onto the scene of one, just being there gives me the opportunity to take preventative measures. When I become a Police Officer, it woul...
Im thinking that its most likely that I will go to a university. If I do, I will go to the University of Phoenix. I’m attending the University of Phoenix for a few reasons but I’m ultimately going to the university to become a detective. I want to be successful and rich so I can have all the good things in life. I want to be able to have a family without financial stress and worries. My entire life my mom has and still is working two or three jobs just to make ends meet. That’s not where I want to be with my future. I want a sense of comfort that no matter what happens I’ll have the money to take care of it. I don’t exactly need a luxurious lifestyle, but I’d like to partake in a life of nicer cars, extravagant home, and cash in the bank. So after all I guess I would like to have a few dollars. It’s often hard to grow up without a substantial amount of money in the family. I’m going to make sure that my husband (who will be working just like me), and kids don’t have to go through all of that. On a more selfish side of the scale, I want to get out of that whole situation as well. I’d like to drive expensive cars and wear the clothes, and most of all, I always want to have money in my pocket. Like everyone else, I just want the good life.
As a child, have you ever been asked what do you want to be when you grow up? When I was little, all I ever wanted to do was open up my own dance company. I chose to study Business Administration because I love the feeling of being an in professional and sophisticated manner. I really feel as though choosing the business field was the best option I ever made for myself because I’m getting the opportunity to show many people out there how professional I can be and also the skills I have as a person.
The anchor is those elements of the self-image that people would not give up if they are forced to make a choice
At least as important as determining a career path is determining where to receive the education necessary to pursue it. This is a particularly pressing issue in my life, as I am a high school junior and must begin applying for colleges next fall. Many factors come into play when making this decision, and through this paper I intend to explore these factors with the goal of determining which colleges, from the following, would best suit my educational and financial needs: Kansas State University, Oberlin College, and Pratt Institute.
Life contains an unlimited amount of life lessons; my main life lesson has inspired me to never give up on myself or my goals. Through my life experiences I have learned that there is no such thing as failure. I am certain with myself that I can find success through hard work and dedication. My career aspiration is to help others as a healthcare professional. More specifically, I have a dream of pursuing a career in physical therapy. Nothing gives me more self-satisfaction than to see that I am able to help people self-improve. Therefore, I have committed to studying and preparing myself for graduate school. I am currently an Undergraduate student at the University of Central Florida, destined to graduate in the Fall of 2017. There are multiple Undergraduate degree paths I can take to prepare myself for grad-school; however, I chose a path that can help me develop skills to provide the best possible service for my future patients. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences
