It's only been a couple of months since I've started attending Foundation academy and I must say that my expectations have been satisfied, I've built important relations and have felt more successful than ever. I admire the expectations that are set because I believe that starting on the right foot is very important. I expect nothing but excellence from myself throughout this high school career. To do this I must benefit from every opportunity, that includes composing this piece.
As a candidate for Honors English I understand I am given the opportunity to go beyond expectations and challenge my aptitude. By being able to attend this class I commit to demonstrate and perform at my best. I want to take this course because I know I can improve in several areas. For example, I am having trouble focusing on just one topic for the end of the year project. I want to learn how to find an objective and develop it well. Also, literature is influenced by the writing of many such as Shakespeare, Dickinson and even Stephen King. They all have a peculiar style, which is why they stand out. Being able to develop our own style requires something advanced and this is something I wish. Overall, this class will benefit me in many ways
Ninth grade English has been a challenge, environment wise; it upsets me to see that certain students are not measuring themselves to high standards. As much as I interact with them and witness their innocent antics, I intend to lead in example. Positioning myself with the right people will not only help me bring about new friendships, but also measure me up to an advanced comprehending
